YARCN, Jajarkot is one of the leading NGOs of Karnali province of Nepal, Promoting Food Security and Sustainable Livelihood, Social Service Strengthening: Health, WASH (Water, Sanitation and Hygiene) and Education, Community Infrastructure Building, Governance Strengthening, Indigenous Knowledge Promotion, Disaster Response and Climate Change Adaptation, Conflict Resolution and Peace Building, Child Protection and Child Friendly Local Government, Youth Awareness and Mobilization, and Income Generation Program. Now we are focusing on building of temporary shelter, TLC and drinking water project, Livelihood programs and psychosocial support on different location of Jajarkot and West Rukum earthquake affected areas.

Youth Awareness Raising Center Nepal (YARCN) is a non-profit, non-political and community-based organization registered in 2003 and affiliated with the Social Welfare Council. YARCN works in Jajarkot and multiple municipalities of the Karnali Province focusing on Disaster Risk Reduction, Climate Change Adaptation, Emergency Response, Livelihood, WASH, Child Protection and Community Development. The organization is currently implementing Local Initiatives for Future Earthquake Preparedness and Disaster Risk Reduction (LIFE) Project in partnership with (Caritas Germany and Caritas Nepal) to strengthen earthquake-affected communities of Jajarkot and West Rukum and support local governments to improve preparedness, and resilience building.
