Training and Event Officer and Assistant
The Manavsewa Ashram is solely a non-profit social organization founded in Makwanpur, Hetauda, on 29 August, 2012, dedicated to making Nepal a 'street people free country' by helping the most vulnerable, impoverished, disabled, homeless, physically weak or mentally or psychologically challenged people who are forced to live miserable lives in the open sky street-banks and public places.

1. Identify the skill gaps of the Ashram’s staff and volunteers and prioritize the training that is immediately necessary.
2. Conduct induction training for newly recruited staff, volunteers, and interns.
3. Develop minimum standards for organizing training programs conducted by the Ashram (e.g., participant count, room environment, sound system, multimedia, rules, etc.)
4. Collect and update manuals, flyers, and booklets; prepare a checklist of necessary materials for training; and develop Ashram- training materials (pens, notebooks, diaries, etc.).
5. Create a database of 50 trainers including their area of expertise, availability, and remuneration also prepare a list of resource persons required for various Ashram programs to enhance coordination and outreach.
Conduct internal trainings focusing on relevant topics like health, safety, and service excellence.
7. Coordinate with schools, colleges, and social partners to prepare and submit proposals for outreach trainings and Ashram observation programs
8. Update training slide decks (Induction Deck) for each department.
9. Collaborate with the social media department to digitally promote banners and event materials
10. Prepare and implement daily department-wise “Department Schooling” schedules.
11. Design and circulate festival greeting messages to all branches and develop QRT dress designs.
12. Facilitate all design requests received from branches.
13. Prepare and send training proposals for school and college visits to all branches.
14. Submit proposals to schools and colleges within the Kathmandu Valley.15. Create training-friendly halls in all district Ashrams to accommodate at least 100 participants and ensure required resources and logistics.
16. Prepare a list of expert resource persons required for Ashram programs and build better public relations and coordination.
17. Update the event and training program on the website daily.
18. Support budgeting and resource planning for L&D initiatives.
19. Promote a culture of continuous learning, safety, and service excellence across the organization.
20. Collect feedback and measure training effectiveness through assessments and follow-ups
21. Analyze training data and prepare reports.
22. Continuously improve content and delivery based on outcomes and participant input.
23. Organize logistics for training including venues, multimedia, materials, and refreshments.
24. Prepare and maintain a database of qualified internal and external
trainers.
Academics & Experiences: Bachelor’s degree in Management or related field
· Minimum 2 years of experience in training, facilitation, or capacity building.
· Excellent interpersonal, communication, and presentation skills.
· Proficiency in designing digital and physical learning materials.
· Strong organizational and project management abilities.
Knowledge of humanitarian work, health, and safety is an asset.
