International Nepal Fellowship (Nepal) is a Non-Government Organization established in 1952 and serves the poor and disadvantaged people of Nepal to enable life to its fullness through health and development services. INF Nepal is currently working in health and community development services in the Gandaki, Lumbini, Karnali, and Sudurpashchim Provinces of Nepal. 

For the following position, INF Nepal Green Pastures Hospital is seeking competent, skilled, service oriented, and devoted Nepali citizens who shares our vision, mission, and values.

1.     Position: Staff Nurse (Maternity)

Required Number: 4

Location: Green Pastures Hospital, Pokhara

Purpose of the Job:    

The purpose of the job is to ensure the provision of safe, high-quality, and compassionate care to mothers and newborns throughout the continuum of pregnancy, childbirth, and the postnatal period. The role aims to reduce maternal and neonatal morbidity and mortality by promoting safe delivery practices, early detection and management of complications, and effective health education. 

Required Qualifications, Skills, and Knowledge:

• Must have a Proficiency Certificate Level in Nursing with valid license registration in Nepal Nursing Council.
• Minimum of one year of practical experience in a maternity setting (Antenatal, Intra natal and Postnatal Care). 
• SBA (Skilled Birth Attendant) trained will be an advantage.
• Strong clinical assessment and emergency care skills.
• Sound decision making, empathy and professionalism.
• Collaborate with doctors and healthcare teams during maternity rounds.
• Understanding of, and agreement with, the values which are important to INF Nepal.

2. Position: Staff Nurse (ICU)

Required Number: 5

Location: Green Pastures Hospital, Pokhara

Purpose of the Job:    

The primary purpose of the job is to provide critical care and life-saving support to patients at ICU with severe or life-threatening conditions. The job holder needs to ensure continuous monitoring, rapid response to emergencies, and effective coordination with doctors to stabilize and improve patient outcomes in the Intensive Care Unit (ICU).

Required Qualifications, Skills, and Knowledge:

Must have a Proficiency Certificate Level in Nursing with valid license registration in Nepal Nursing Council.

• Minimum of one year of practical experience in a Intensive Care Unit (ICU).
• Able to monitor and manage vital signs and life support system (Eg. Ventilators, infusion pumps and many more).
• Administer medications and treatments under the guidance of physician.
• Assist with emergency procedures (Eg CPR, Intubation)
• Collaborate with doctors and healthcare teams during ICU rounds.
• Must be active, alert and diligent ICU experienced.
• Compassionate, caring, polite, honest and has team spirit.
• Understanding of, and agreement with, the values which are important to INF Nepal.
