Social Development Forum (SDF Banke) is a non-governmental organization that has been working for the past three decades to improve the social and economic conditions of women, children, youth and people with disabilities from Dalit, Janajati, marginalized and disadvantaged communities through meaningful participation in education, health, environment and livelihood related interventions. SDF Banke is going to implement UPLIFT project in partnership with Save the Children Nepal inside Nepalgunj sub metropolitan city, Banke district. In the regards, SDF is seeking qualified, dynamic and motivated Nepali citizens on following positions for smooth implementation of the project.

  • Bachelor’s degree in any discipline from authorised university with at least 3 years of experience in related field and project lead.
  • Experience in employment generation, enterpreneurship development and vocational training.
  • Effeciency in using word, excel, PPT and other microsoft package.
  • Experience in writing reports, case stories and documentation of project interventions in Nepali and English.
  • Sound knowledge of safeguarding, gender equality and social inclusion and Monitoring, evaluation, accountability and learning.
  • Ability to build productive partnerships with government agencies, donors, civil society organizations, and community stakeholders.
  • Self motivated with the ability to work with minimum supervision.
  • Ensure effective implementation of project interventions aligned with project goals and organizational priorities.
  • Capacity building of project team members.
  • Conduct periodic staff meeting, review project progress and plan for next period. 
  • Conduct frequent field visit and provide coahing and mentoring of project interventions for quality delivery
  • Prepare high quality project report and case stories.
  • Build strong coordination with local government and likeminded organizations.
  • Promote safeguarding practices within all project interventions.
  • Represent organization in different forums.
  • Prepare yearly program budget and do budget forecasts as reqired.
  • Ensure budget versus expenditure are maintained with high quality project intervention.

Finance, Admin and Supply Chain Officer (FASCO) - (Required Position - 1)

Site Office, Nepalgunj, Banke (with frequent field visits to project locations)

  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or Supply Chain Management from recognised university with atleast 3 years of relevant experience in finance, administration, and supply chain management.
  • Strong knowledge of financial reporting, auditing, and compliance.
  • Proficiency in MS Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint) and accounting software (e.g., Tally, QuickBooks, SAP).
  • Understanding of procurement policies, supply chain systems, and inventory management.
  • Familiarity with taxation, VAT/PAN, and government regulations.
  • Prepare, monitor, and manage budgets, forecasts, and financial reports.
  • Ensure compliance with accounting standards, donor requirements, and organizational policies.
  • Oversee cash flow, bank reconciliations, and financial audits.
  • Lead procurement processes, vendor selection, and contract management.
  • Maintain inventory systems and ensure timely delivery of goods and services.
  • Uphold transparency, accountability, and value-for-money principles.
  • Manage office operations, documentation, and record-keeping.
  • Support HR functions such as recruitment, contracts, and staff welfare.
  • Ensure compliance with organizational policies and legal requirements.
  • Safeguard organizational assets and resources.
  • Prepare periodic financial, procurement, and administrative reports.
  • Maintain accurate records for audits and donor reviews.
  • Work closely with program teams to align financial and supply chain support with project needs.
  • Liaise with external stakeholders including banks, vendors, and government agencies.
  • Provide technical support and training to staff on finance and procurement systems.
Monitoring, Evaluation, Accountability and Learning (MEAL) Officer - (Required Position - 1)Site Office, Nepalgunj, Banke (with frequent field visit in project locations)
  • Bachelor’s degree in any discipline from recognised university with minimum 3 years of experience in monitoring, evaluation, research or project management.
  • Proficiency in data collection tools (KoboToolbox).
  • Knowledge of baseline, midline, and endline assessments.
  • Support to prepare periodic progress reports, result summaries and dashboards, ensuring compliance with donors and organizational standards.
  • Ability to prepare donor reports, success stories, and case studies.
  • Strong presentation and facilitation skills for reflection sessions and learning workshops.
  • Collect, validate, and analyze quantitative and qualitative data.
  • Maintain project databases and ensure timely reporting.
  • Generate evidence-based insights to guide decision-making.
  • Establish feedback and complaint response systems at community level.
  • Ensure transparency and responsiveness to beneficiaries.
  • Document and address grievances in line with organizational policies.
  • Conduct regular field visits to track progress and ensure data quality.
  • Handling of complaint feedback mechanism of the organization.
  • Support baseline, midline, and endline surveys.
  • Train project staff and partners on MEAL tools and approaches.
  • Capture lessons learned, best practices, and success stories.
Market Systems and Business Incubation (MSBI) Officer - Project Officer (Required Position - 1)Site Office, Nepalgunj, Banke (with frequent field visit in project locations)
  • Bachelor’s degree in any discipline from recognised university with minimum 2 years of experience in market sector and business incubation sector.
  • Knowledge of market oriented business plan, value chain development, inclusive market systems, and private sector engagement.
  • Ability to  manage incubation programs for startups and micro enterprises.
  • Skills in mentorship, access to finance, and market linkage facilitation.
  • Excellent documentation, presentation, and reporting abilities.
  • Coordination with ward offices and related stakeholders for probable youth identification to engage in enterpreneurship development.
  • Lead field level implementation of project interventions.
  • Provide technical support to youths for business start ups and small enterprises.
  • Deliver incubation programs including mentorship, coaching and facilitate related training.
  • Build partnerships with financial institutions, business associations, and government agencies.
  • Represent the organization in meetings, workshops, and policy dialogues.
  • Ensure adherence to gender equality, social inclusion, and child protection standards.
Livelihood Officer (Required position - 1)Site Office, Nepalgunj, Banke (with frequent field visit in project locations)
  • Bachelor’s degree in any discipline from authorised university with minimum 2 years of experience in the related field
  • Experience in entrepreneurship promotion, micro entrepreneurship, and community mobilization.
  • Having strong networking, motivation and coordination skill.
  • Experience in facilitation of entrepreneuship based trainings.
  • Excellent documentation, reporting and data management skills.
  • Commitment to safeguarding and PSEA policies.
  • Executive interventions as per project plan.
  • Engage with vulnerable and marginalized groups to promote participation.
  • Facilitate trainings on enterprise development and life skill for success sessions.
  • Provide mentorship and technical support to micro entrepreneur youths.
  • Prepare progress report, case stories and lesson learned.
  • Coordination and collaborate with local government and private sectors.
  • Ensure adherence to safeguarding and gender equality.
