International Nepal Fellowship (Nepal) is a non-governmental organization established in 1952 and serves the poor and disadvantaged people of Nepal to enable life to its fullness through health and development services. INF Nepal is currently working in health and community development services in the Gandaki, Lumbini, Karnali, and Sudurpashchim Provinces of Nepal. 

For the following positions, INF Nepal, Green Pastures Hospital and Rehabilitation Centre, Pokhara and Shining Hospital INF Banke is seeking competent, skilled, service-oriented, and devoted Nepali citizens who share our vision, missions, and values

1.          Position: Staff Nurse

Required Number: 4

Location: GPHRC, Pokhara

Purpose of the Job: 

The Job holder is responsible for promoting and restoring patients health need in collaboration with multidisciplinary team members, provision of direct and qualitative patient care, provision of holistic care as per patients’ needs along with their visitors, documentation, reporting and maintenance of records to facilitate smooth functioning.

Required Qualifications, Skills, and knowledge:

  • Must have PCL Nursing, with registered with Nepal Nursing Council.
  • A minimum of One year of practical experience in a hospital setting. 
  • Demonstrate sensitivity and confidentiality.
  • Skills to use automated and technical equipment.
  • Good computer knowledge with Word, Excel.
  • Must have a pleasing personality and a positive attitude.
  • Follow the doctor’s instructions while maintaining coordination.
  • Practical experience of using hospital software or system is an advantage.
  • Prepare a plan of care as per the patient’s needs.
  • Able to ensure and demonstrate INF Values in work and dealing with others.

2.          Position: Leprosy Facilitator

Required Number: 1

Location: Shining Hospital, INF Banke

Purpose of the Job:    

To implement the planned project activities in coordination with the project head (INF SHIB) and community health facilities (Local Level health section and related health posts) to report to the project head about implementation, including routine monthly reports, and to assist the project head in conducting BLT for health workers. To provide all data and information to the project head related to the project to assist in preparing monthly donor reports.

Required Qualifications, Skills, and Knowledge:

  • Must have a Proficiency Certificate Level (PCL) in Nursing or PCL in General Medicine or Health Assistant registered with the respective Council in Nepal.
  • A minimum of Two years of work experience in community mobilization work or clinical setting related to leprosy.
  • Must have experience in the planning and capacity building of community members and local health structures.
  • Completed trainings on Basic Leprosy Training (BLT) and Comprehensive Leprosy Training (CLT) is an advantage.
  • Able to understand and communicate in different languages such as Nepali, Awadhi, Tharu.
  • Good facilitation, mobilization and communication skills.
  • Willing and able to travel extensively to work areas.
  • Must have basic computer skills in Word and Excel.
  • Must have two-wheeler (Bike or scooter) valid government driving license.
  • Good understanding of, and able to demonstrate the values of INF and dealing with others.

3.         Position: Senior Medical Officer

Required Number: 1

Location: Shining Hospital INF Banke

Purpose of the Job: 

The job holder oversees all the medical work of the inpatient and outpatient departments of Shining Hospital INF Banke, providing technical input and support, ensuring the smooth running of the inpatient unit and achieving an excellent standard of care of the patients in a holistic manner.  

Required Qualifications, Skills, and knowledge:

  • Must have an MBBS Degree, registered at Nepal Medical Council and have a minimum of one year of post-qualification clinical experience.
  • Experience in handling inpatient and outpatient department especially leprosy affected or rehabilitation- related or skin-related is an advantage.
  • Must demonstrate sensitivity and confidentiality.
  • Must have leadership skills, cross-cultural skills, and interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Must be able to use manual or automated hospital equipment.
  • Able to ensure that clinical staff follows healthcare regulations and safety standards.
  • Good clinical history-taking, examination, and making relevant differential diagnosis skills.
  • Must have basic computer skills- Office Package and other software/systems related to hospitals.
  • Good English Language skills both written and spoken.
  • Must have a proactive approach to patient care and must be honest and demonstrate integrity.
  • Able to demonstrate equality and compassion towards people affected by leprosy.
  • Good understanding of, and agreement with the values which are important to INF.

4.     Position: Consultant Anaesthetist

Required Number: 1

Location: GPHRC, Pokhara

Purpose of the Job:    

The post holder will provide anesthesia consultation and management within Green Pastures Hospital and other INF Nepal Hospitals for all its services including deformities, ear center, orthopedics, spinal disorders, outreach purposes, etc.

Required Qualifications, Skills, and Knowledge:

  • Must have MD Anesthesiology registered with the Nepal Medical Council with one year post qualification experience. Fresher may also apply.
  • Must have evidence of specialist training in anesthesia.
  • A wide experience of general anesthesia, regional anesthesia and blocks is an advantage 
  • Commitment to develop teaching for medical, nursing and other support specialists.
  • A genuine interest in helping people with a proactive approach to patient care.
  • Able to keep all matters pertaining to work confidential.
  • Show compassion to patients who may be experiencing pain or discomfort.
  • Familiarity with standard concept, practices and procedures of anesthesiology.
  • Ability to communicate with patients and relatives effectively and with empathy.
  • Ability to remain calm and focused during procedures.
  • To be honest and demonstrate integrity.
  • A good understanding of, and able to demonstrate the values of INF,
