Location: Kathmandu but require to work for about 25 days either in Parasi district in Lumbini province or Nawalpur district in Gandaki province for data collection
Employment Type: Temporary Project Based Appointment (for 1 month)

Center for Research on Environment Health and Population Activities (CREHPA) is a private, not-for-profit consultancy and research organization based at Kathmandu, Nepal. It is registered under Society’s Act 2034, HMG as a non-governmental organization (NGO). It is also registered with the Social Welfare Council (SWC), Nepal.
CREHPA is looking for Research Assistants, with appropriate research skills in conducting quantitative research related to anemia and household norms among newly married couples and mother in-laws in Parasi and Nawalpur districts in Nepal. This study aimed to explore the effectiveness of Multiple Micronutrient Supplements (MMS) together with household norms educational intervention to reduce anemia among newly married women in preconception period.
Main Responsibilities
- Attend intensive orientation training provided by CREHPA
- Administer the research tools/questionnaires at sampled households
- Adhere study protocol including ethical aspects of the study
- Update daily activities to the Field Supervisors
- Work together as a team and under the guidance of Field Supervisor and Research Officer
Minimum Qualification
- Bachelor’s Degree in Public Health, Sociology, Social Work, Population Studies, Global Health, Nutrition or other Social Science research-related discipline.
Skills & Experience
- Previous fieldwork experience in data collection preferably in quantitative research.
- Ability to collect quality data using tablets.
- Good writing and oral skills in Nepali and English.
- Candidates who can speak local language will be preferred.
- Should be a Nepali Citizen.
