for DATA ENTRY and ANALYSIS of EGRA, EGMA and Digital Literacy Survey
Background
Kalika Self-Reliance Social Centre (KSSC-Nepal), in partnership with UNICEF under the School Education Sector Plan (SESP), is implementing interventions to improve foundational learning and digital literacy among children. As part of program monitoring and evaluation, KSSC-Nepal is supporting on the Early Grade Reading Assessment (EGRA), Early Grade Mathematics Assessment (EGMA), and Digital Literacy Surveys initiatives to assess learning outcomes of children and inform future programming. To ensure accurate, timely, and reliable results, KSSC-Nepal seeks to hire a qualified consulting firm to support Data Entry, and Analysis. This will enable the program team to generate evidence-based insights for planning, decision-making, and reporting.
KSSC-Nepal invites interested Nepali firms to submit their technical and financial proposals no later than 7 days from the date of this notice’s publication.
Details of work to be undertaken by the consulting firm
Task 1-EGRA and EGMA survey data entry and analysis
The firm has to conduct data entry and analysis for EGRA and EGMA survey (around 1300 plus samples) of four provinces, Karnali, Lumbini, Madhesh and Sudurpaschim (midline survey:11 palikas and baseline survey 10 palikas). The specific activities are as follows: -
- A data entry sheet to be developed in Excel for data entry (reference will be provided)
- Work in close coordination with Education Review Office (ERO) officials during the whole process
- Reach out to the field staff in case of any clarity required in the questionnaires during the process of data entry/analysis. Contact details will be provided
- Data cleaning and analysis and sharing final raw data and analyzed data, final charts and tables
Task 2-Digital literacy survey data entry and analysis
The firm has to conduct data entry and analysis of around 300 plus samples conducted in Bagmati and Madhesh province (five palikas). The specific activities are as follows: -
- A data entry sheet to be developed in Excel for data entry
- Data entry, cleaning and analysis
- Work in close coordination with the KSSC-Nepal and UNICEF during data entry/ analysis phase. Contact details will be provided for any follow-up in the field during the process of data entry/analysis
- Share final raw data and analyzed data; final charts and tables
Fees and Payment
The consultant will be paid the agreed amount, as stated in the contract, upon submission of the final clean database and analysis report. Payment will be made after deducting applicable government taxes. KSSC- Nepal will not cover any expenses beyond those specified in the contract.
Duration
The duration of the assignment is a maximum of 30 days expected to start from first week of September.
