Established on September 26, 1990, and registered on December 20, 1992, with the District Administration Office, Bajura, PeaceWin Nepal is a non-profit, non-governmental social development organization dedicated to fostering a gender-sensitive, peaceful, and just society in Nepal. We provide a supportive learning environment to women, children, and youth, laying the foundation for their career development. As a provincial implementing partner of the United Nations Population Fund (UNFPA) for the Sudurpaschim, PeaceWin Nepal is actively engaged in programs focusing on Sexual and Reproductive Health and Rights (SRHR) and Gender Equality, Women Empowerment (GEWE). Under GEWE, PeaceWin is implementing Global Programme to Ending Child Marriage (ECM) in Bajhang, and Baitadi, . The programme aims to empower individual adolescent girls to make decisions about if, when and whom to marry, within a web of support that involves her family, the community (including boys and men), service providers, society and public structures, institutions, systems and services, laws and policies. To lead the implementation of the programme in Bajhang district, PeaceWin Nepal is inviting applications from qualified Nepali citizens committed to delivering results with the highest integrity for following positions for the ECM programme being implemented in selected Municipalities Bajhang districts.
Vacancy Position
Municipal Coordinator (Level - 7), Position One
Location: Programme Municipality of Bajhang district.
Summary: Engage in implementation of programme activities of ECM programme at community level in coordination with local government and relevant stakeholders.
Qualifications: At least bachelor’s degree in Gender studies, Social Work or Social Sciences with two years of experience in GBV prevention, harmful practice and ending child marriage at community level.
