International Nepal Fellowship (Nepal) is a Non-Government Organization established in 1952 and serves the poor and disadvantaged people of Nepal to enable life to its fullness through health and development services.
INF Nepal is currently working in health and community development services in the Gandaki, Lumbini, Karnali, and Sudurpashchim Provinces of Nepal.
For the following position, INF Nepal Green Pastures Hospital and Shining Hospital INF Surkhet is seeking competent, skilled, service oriented, and devoted Nepali citizens who shares our vision, mission, and values.
1. Position: Assistant Project Officer
Required Number: 1
Location: Pokhara
Purpose of the Job:
The job holder is responsible for effective execution of burn care trainings, identification and arrange treatment for patients with post burn complications and conduct awareness campaigns. The job holder serves as an interface between community and GPH clinical team, ensuring alignment with project objectives.
Required Qualifications, Skills, and Knowledge:
- Bachelor’s degree in social science, or a related field or bachelor’s degree in public health.
- Minimum 1 year’s proven experience in project implementation and management, preferably in healthfocused initiatives in Nepal.
- Working experience in a like-minded organisation.
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills.
- Strong leadership, communication, and stakeholder engagement skills.
- Computer competencies and general knowledge of Word, Excel, Email, Internet and social media.
- Good command (spoken and written) in both English and Nepali.
- Foster strong relationships with multidisciplinary teams, including doctors, social workers, and community leaders, to ensure cohesive project execution.
- Uphold ethical standards in patient care and data handling, respecting confidentiality and consent.
- Understanding of, and agreement with, the values which are important to INF Nepal.
2. Position: Radiographer
Required Number: 1
Location: Pokhara
Purpose of the Job:
The job holder is responsible for conducting diagnostic imaging procedures, such as X-rays, to assist physicians in diagnosing and treating medical conditions. The role involves operating and maintaining imaging equipment, producing high-quality diagnostic images, and ensuring patient safety, comfort, and confidentiality at all times.
Required Qualifications, Skills, and Knowledge:
- Diploma in Radiography, medical imaging or a related field from an accredited institution.
- Must be registered with the relevant professional council.
- Relevant Training in Radiography and minimum one year of experience in relevant field.
- Knowledge of medical imaging technology and procedures and strong understanding of radiation safety protocols.
- Excellent patient care and communication skills.
- Able to work under pressure and work in fast paced environment.
- Understanding of, and agreement with, the values which are important to INF Nepal.
3. Position: CMA
Required Number: 1
Location: Pokhara
Purpose of the Job:
The job holder is responsible for working in the ATR and Emergency Department, performing initial assessments and triaging of patients arriving during his/her duty hours. He/she must also ensure that all necessary logistics are in place while on duty.
Required Qualifications, Skills, and Knowledge:
- CMA with at least one year of experience working in clinical settings.
- Experience in an Emergency or Critical Care Unit is desirable.
- Relevant training in triage, emergency care, or other clinical support areas.
- Basic computer skills.
- Able to work under pressure and work in fast paced environment.
- Able to carry out duties with technical excellence, honesty, and a strong sense of responsibility.
- Understanding of, and agreement with, the values which are important to INF Nepal.
4. Position: Medical Lab Technician
Required Number: 1
Location: Pokhara
Purpose of the Job:
The job holder is responsible to perform and evaluate various tests on different sample of patients to obtain results for use by physicians in the diagnosis and treatment of diseases.
Required Qualifications, Skills, and Knowledge:
- Certificate In Medical Laboratory Technology (CMLT) along with registration in Nepal Health Professional Council (NHPC).
- Minimum 1 year of experience in relevant field.
- Training on certain laboratory related testing procedures.
- Able to calibrate the equipment.
- Able to work under pressure and work in fast paced environment.
- Able to carry out duties with technical excellence, honesty, and a strong sense of responsibility.
- Understanding of, and agreement with, the values which are important to INF Nepal.
5. Position: Medical Officer
Required Number: 1
Location: Surkhet
Purpose of the Job:
The job holder oversees all the medical work of the inpatient and outpatient of Shining Hospital, providing technical input and support, ensuring the smooth running of the inpatient unit and achieving an excellent standard of care of the patients in a holistic manner.
Required Qualifications, Skills, and Knowledge:
- Must have a MBBS Degree, registered at Nepal Medical Council and have a minimum of one year of post-qualification clinical experience. However, freshers are also encouraged to apply.
- Experience in handling inpatient/outpatient department, minor surgeries especially leprosy affected, or rehabilitation related or skin-related is an advantage.
- Experience in Leprosy, general disability and derma.
- Good people skills and good communication skills.
- Must have basic computer skills.
- Good English Language skills both written and spoken.
- Must have a proactive approach to patient care and must be honest and demonstrate integrity.
- Able to demonstrate equality and compassion towards people affected by leprosy.
- Understanding of, and agreement with the values which are important to INF Nepal.
