Invitation to Submit Quotation for Consultant Services

Poush, 2049 BS (December 20, 1992 AD), the organization envisions “Competent Individuals, Happy Families, and a Prosperous Society”. It primarily works with disadvantaged groups, especially women and children, to promote and protect their social, economic, and cultural rights. PeaceWin Nepal addresses various social issues, including Chhaupadi, child marriage, malnutrition, gender-based violence, and other forms of discrimination, through integrated and mainstreamed efforts. 

In collaboration with Welthungerhilfe (WHH), PeaceWin Nepal/WAC, and SAMABIKASH Nepal, the organization has been implementing the "Women in Climate Resilient Agri-Systems for Enhanced Nutrition Security (WE-CAN)" project since December 2024. This project focuses on fostering climate-resilient local food systems and empowering women in the municipalities of Sanfebagar and Chaurpati in Achham District, Sudurpashchim Province.

PeaceWin Nepal invites eligible and qualified individual consultants or consulting firms to submit technical and financial proposals for the assignment titled: “Support for the Development of Climate-Resilient Agriculture Strategies and Local Agriculture Adaptation Plans (LAAPs) in Alignment with Nepal’s Local Adaptation Plan of Action (LAPA) Framework”.

Objective of the Assignment:

The objective of this assignment is to support local governments in developing evidence-based and community-driven Climate-Resilient Agriculture Strategies and LAAPs. This process will strengthen institutional capacities in climate-resilient agriculture and nutrition through an inclusive, participatory planning process aligned with national policy frameworks, assessment findings, and stakeholder inputs. The final strategies must be formally endorsed by the respective local governments, ensuring local ownership and long-term sustainability. Please refer to the Terms of Reference (ToR) for detailed information regarding the scope of work and expected deliverables.

Submission Deadline:

The complete proposal documents must be submitted by 20th Shrawan, 2082 (August 5, 2025) during office hours. If the last date of submission falls on a public holiday, proposals will be accepted on the next working day.

Submission Options:

Interested consultants may submit their documents in person at PeaceWin Nepal Office, Martadi, Bajura or at the District Project Support Office, Sanfebagar, Achham or Via courier, upon prior request.

Please note that submission of a quotation does not entail any financial or other obligation on the part of PeaceWin Nepal. The organization reserves the right to accept or reject any or all quotations without assigning any reason and without incurring any liability.

Required documents to be submitted:

1. Application Letter.
2. Updated Resume
3. Educational Certificates
4. Copy of Citizenship Certificate - (For individual consultants only).
5. Relevant Supporting Documents - Additional certificates, publications, or evidence of similar consultancy work may be submitted to strengthen the application.
6. Technical Proposal - Including methodology, proposed approach for strategy development, timeline, and outline of contents.
7. Financial Proposal - Detailed budget with proposed consultancy rate (note: the quoted rate must remain valid for one year).
8. Additional Documentation - PeaceWin Nepal may request further documents or clarifications during the evaluation process.
