Invitation for bids for the Supply of Women-Friendly Agri Tools/Machinery

PeaceWin Nepal is a women-led, non-governmental, non-profit social organization. It was established locally in 2047 BS (September 26, 1990) and registered at the District Administration Office of Bajura on 5th Poush 2049 BS (December 20, 1992 AD), with the vision of “Competent Individuals, Happy Families, and a Prosperous Society.” The organization primarily works with disadvantaged groups, especially children and women, promoting and protecting their social, economic, and cultural rights. It addresses various social issues such as Chhaupadi, child marriage, malnutrition, gender-based violence, and ethnic and other forms of discrimination through integrated efforts and mainstreaming.

In collaboration with Welthungerhilfe (WHH), PeaceWin Nepal, WAC and SAMABIKAS Nepal have been jointly implementing the "Women in Climate Resilient Agri-System for Enhanced Nutrition Security (WE-CAN)" project since December 2024. This project focuses on fostering climate-resilient local food systems and empowering women in Sanfebagar Municipality and Chaurpati Rural Municipality in Achham District, Sudurpashchim Province.

PeaceWin Nepal invites bids from eligible and qualified suppliers, firms, and companies for the supply of women-friendly agricultural tools and machines across its project areas. The objective of this procurement is to support smallholder farmers by improving their access to essential agricultural tools and inputs that promote climate-smart and sustainable farming practices. The procurement specifically aims to strengthen the adaptive capacity of smallholder farmers through the provision of essential agricultural tools, seeds, and inputs, promote climate-smart and environmentally friendly agricultural production systems by improving access to quality inputs, empower Local Resource Persons (LRPs) with practical agricultural tool kits so that they can provide better technical support and backstopping to farmers’ groups at the community level, increase household-level food security and income by facilitating access to productive farming resources, ensure that marginalized groups, including women and vulnerable communities, benefit through targeted support aimed at reducing inequalities in agricultural access and opportunities.

Interested and eligible firms and companies are invited to download the Bid/TOR document and PeaceWin Nepal quotation form and submit their sealed quotation, along with all required documents to offices PeaceWin Nepal Central Office, Martadi, Bajura and PeaceWin Nepal Program Support Office, Sanfe, Achham, No later than 14 September 2026:

If submitting a sealed hard-copy quotation is not feasible, bidders may submit all required quotation documents via email to the address provided below by 14 September 2026. In such cases, the documents must be password-protected for security purposes.

This invitation does not entail any commitment on the part of PeaceWin Nepal, either financial or otherwise. PeaceWin Nepal reserves the right to accept or reject any or all bids without incurring any obligation.

Note: Suppliers must deliver all required goods/materials to the project areas: Sanfebagar Municipality Wards No. 2, 3, 9, 10, 11, 12, and 14, and Chaurpati Rural Municipality Wards No. 4, 5, 6, and 7 at their own transportation cost and risk; the supplier will be fully responsible for any loss or damage during transportation, PeaceWin Nepal will not bear such responsibility, the required quantities may be increased or decreased as per project needs, and only properly sealed quotations will be considered.
