INF International is an International non-government Organization, serving poor and disadvantaged people of Nepal to enable life in its fullness through health and community development services. INF provides health and community development services in the provinces of Gandaki, Lumbini, Karnali, and Sudurpaschim.

INF International is seeking a competent, skilled, service-oriented and devoted volunteer to provide expertise in developing mental health care services, and who shares our vision, missions, and values.

Position:  Health Services Advisor [Psychologist]

Required Number: 1

Location: Pokhara

Salary & Benefits: Volunteer, no financial benefits will be provided

Contract period: 2-3 years

The post holder will develop methods and procedures to ensure that mental health care becomes an integral part of services delivered at INF Nepal Green Pastures Hospital (GPH), aligning with national and international best practices and ethical standards. The role includes supporting the hospital’s overall services through capacity building of staff, advancing evidence-based psychological care, and contributing to mental health research and program development. The job holder will work as an integral member of the INF Nepal medical services team to establish GPH as a centre of excellence for holistic, multidisciplinary mental health care.

Required Qualifications, Skills, and Knowledge:

• Master in Clinical Psychology or equivalent +5 years of experience.
• Good communication skills in both English and Nepali.
• Experience in teaching, research, and community health.
• Skill and experience in project and strategy development.
• Evidence of technical skills relating to the care of people with mental health conditions.
• Good teamwork and experience in cross-cultural teams.
• Ready to work on a volunteer basis. No, financial benefits.
