Centre for Security and Justice Studies

Search For Common Ground (SFCG) in partnership of Centre for Security and Justice Studies (CSJS), Centre for Legal Research Resource Development (CeLRRd), Human Rights and Community Development Academy Nepal (HUCODAN) is working on a project entitled Pahunch 2: Strengthening the Poor and Marginalized’s Access to Justice and Security in Nepal. It aims to improve security and access to justice for poor and marginalized communities, specially women, in Nepal. This project is funded by Department for International Development (DFID-UK).

CSJS is an institution established in 2006 to work in the field of security and justice. It is a non-profit, non-political, non-partisan, independent and autonomous non-governmental organization. CSJS bring together expertise and nuances of the senior police officers that have served Nepal Police throughout their lives. In this respect, CSJS is conducting research on Community Policing and Women and Children Service Centres. 

Position: Finance Officer

Number of vacancy: 1

City: Kathmandu

Position type: Part time (The working days will be three days a week.)

Minimum qualification:

• Bachelor’s degree in Management field from recognized university.

Job experience:

• The applicant should have a minimum of three years of experience in finance and accounting field. 
• The applicant must have good command in English and good computer knowledge is a must. 

Major responsibilities and duties of Finance Officer:

• Accounting entries
• Procurement
• Maintaining accounts books
• Preparing ledgers
• Preparing financial reports
• Reporting
• Auditing and Renewal of Centre’s registration
