Women's Rehabilitation Centre (WOREC) is a non-governmental organization working for the protection and promotion of human rights. Established in 1991, WOREC is one of the leading national organizations that works to prevent violence against women, its causes and consequences, and to ensure economic, social and cultural well-being of women as well as other marginalized groups by promoting their access to rights and social justice.

Promotion of Gender responsive and inclusive government is the key to promote gender equity and fostering sustainability in achieving gender equity. This project will focus on the capacity development of the elected women representatives (EWRs) and other duty bearers (elected male representatives, key government officials and service providers) to enhance their understanding of gender-inclusive governance. This will also focus to support them to enhance their leadership skills for their meaningful participation in governance. This consultancy will focus on facilitating trainings sessions for elected women representatives (EWRs) and Women member of municipal executive committee from selected LGUs on Digital security and their connection to human rights
