PHASE Nepal’s health, education, livelihoods improvement, research, and promotion of independent living concepts for persons with disabilities are currently running across various rural communities in Nepal. PHASE Nepal is currently looking for following position:

Job Responsibilities:

• Prepare annual targets based on strategic goals, objectives and students need
• To initiate creative ideas, devise and deliver suitable classes for students and teachers
• Manage the teaching resources to foster the achievement of the school's strategic goals
• Providing advice, input, support and monitoring the teaching and learning processes at classroom
• Provide necessary support, encouragement and resources to create a positive, collaborative and effective working environment for the staffs
• Develop and promote learning partnership between home, school and community
• Maintain a safe physical and emotional environment for students and staffs
• Demonstrate good practice and a thorough understanding of current approaches of effective teaching and learning across the curriculum
• Able to run training sessions for facilitator or teachers
• Provide orientation to the children
• Ensure the positive and stimulating learning environment with the opportunity to the students to express their thoughts and opinions in a respectful environment
• Organizing and assisting in professional development of staff
• Evaluating and reporting on the work of teachers and on the teaching of subject/area in the school
• Report to the line manager on the use of finances and assets purchased to support the learning programs and also the monthly progress report

Required skills

• Knowledge in Child rights and Child protection policy
• Good administrative, written and oral communication skills
• Skills in taking initiative, thinking creatively and working collaboratively
• Result oriented with good analytical skills and problem solving attitude
• Goal oriented, independent, committed, innovative and motivated
• Excellent social and interpersonal communication skills and team spirit
• Able to motivate own-self as well as others
• Experience in teaching
• Able to trust and respect in working environment
• Report writing skills

Insurance Benefits:

We offer each staff a medical Insurance of up to NRs. 2,25,000/- that covers employee and his/her dependent family members up to two, and Accidental Insurance of Rs. 2,000,000/- for staff member.
