Overview: British Gurkhas Nepal (BGN) provides many services to Gurkha Veterans, one of them is to support them to settle down in the UK. Gurkha Settlement Office supports Ex-Gurkhas and their dependents by providing correct information on Indefinite Leave to Enter/Remain (ILE/R), UK Immigration etc, which helps them to make informed choices and decisions for their settlement in the UK. GSO assists the veterans with UK Visa application process and documentation alongside providing other relevant information. This department plays a vital role in connecting BGN with the Veteran Community in Nepal. Success Profile: The ideal candidate will have a keen interest in understanding their duties and be familiar with UK visa procedure and immigration rules and policies. They will also have knowledge of Equality and Diversity, Data Protection, Office Management System, MS Office Applications among others. Understand and implement BGN SOPs Standard Operating Procedures at work. Should have good communication skills in both English and Nepali (written and spoken) including translating documents. Candidates must ensure their experience and qualifications address these requirements. Candidates with minimum college education/qualification; Intermediate or + 2 (class 12 pass) are preferable.
