Position Summary

We are seeking a skilled and proactive BIM Engineer to support and advance Building Information Modeling (BIM) and Virtual Design and Construction (VDC) initiatives across multidisciplinary engineering and construction projects. The role involves contributing to BIM workflows for power sector infrastructure including transmission, distribution, and renewable energy as well as building projects in residential, commercial, and industrial sectors.

The BIM Engineer will be responsible for developing and managing high-quality 3D models, coordinating with cross-disciplinary engineering teams, and ensuring accurate, clash-free design deliverables that comply with international standards. Working closely with U.S.-based engineers, the role supports project execution through effective model coordination, technical documentation, and adherence to established BIM processes.

The successful candidate's role and compensation will be commensurate with their experience and qualifications, with opportunities for Lead or Senior positions for the candidates with extensive, relevant experience.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop, maintain, and manage BIM models using Revit or similar software.
• Prepare plans, elevations, sections, schedules, and other drawings from BIM models.
• Collaborate with Architectural, Electro-Mechanical, MEP, Structural, and Civil teams to ensure coordinated, clash-free designs.
• Maintain BIM standards, templates, and families across all project deliverables.
• Perform clash detection and resolve design conflicts with relevant teams.
• Support engineers in creating technical documentation, presentations, and design development.Review and incorporate vendor drawings and project specifications into BIM models.
• Maintain organized project files, model revisions, and documentation.
• Assist in integrating U.S. codes, standards, and industry best practices into project workflows.

Required Qualifications & Skills

• Bachelor’s degree in architecture, Civil, Mechanical, or Electrical Engineering.
• 1–5 years of experience in BIM modeling for building, industrial, or utility projects.
• Strong proficiency in Autodesk Revit (required).
• Basic knowledge of AutoCAD, Navisworks, or similar modeling software.
• Familiarity with BIM workflows, coordination, and clash detection.
• Good written and spoken English.
• Strong organization, time management, and multitasking skills.

Preferred / Nice-to-Have

• Experience coordinating multidisciplinary BIM models (Architectural, Structural, MEP).
• Knowledge of BIM 360, ACC, or other collaborative BIM platforms.
• Familiarity with U.S. building codes or international standards.
• Experience preparing construction documentation and as-built BIM models.
• Applicants with advanced qualifications and greater experience will be prioritized and may be offered a senior role.
