Geruwa Rural Awareness Association (GERUWA), Bardiya established in 1993AD, is a non-profit, non-government, community-based organization. It has been working on WASH, Health, Disaster Management, Education, Good Governance, Gender mainstreaming and Livelihood following its five-year strategic plan. To achieve strategic aim 1, 2 and 5, it has been implementing SAFAL Project- (Improving WASH in institutions (Health Care Facilities and Schools) in partnership with Tdh foundation. GERUWA is looking for dynamic, energetic and qualified applicants for the following positions.

Position: WASH Officer Technical (Engineer)

Project: SAFAL Project

Required No: 1 (One)

Duty Station: Municipality Office and/or GERUWA's central Office, Gulariya Bardiya (Field movement- 80%)

Minimum Academic Qualification and Experiences:

• Bachelor's degree in civil engineering with minimum 2 year’s working experience and experiences in survey, design, estimation, drawing and construction of WASH projects.
• Professional experience on WASH and Health sector.
• Good skill in community development, coordination, mobilization, empowerment, networking, facilitation, Liaison  and advocacy.
• Excellent interpersonal communication skill and ability to work closely and supportively within a team.
• Excellent knowledge of MS Office (Word, Excel and Power point) Knowledge of civil engineering design/ drawing software (AutoCAD and others).
• Excellent in Nepali and Good in English communication (written and oral).
• Valid two-wheeler driving license in mandatory, able to ride a motorcycle in rural environment. 

Type of Exam for the position: Written test, practical and Interview.
