Auction Notice for the Sale of Used Vehicle

Re-Notice: 27th October, 2026 (2083 Kartik 10)

Shangri-La Orphanage Home (SOH) hereby invites sealed bids from interested individuals, firms and organization for the purchase of the following used vehicle owned by the organization. The vehicle will be sold on an "As Is, Where Is" basis.

Minimum Bid Price: NPR 675,070.00

Interested bidders may inspect the vehicle from 28 October 2026 to 6 November 2026, between 11:00 AM and 4:00 PM, at the parking premises of SOH at Godawari-10, Chapagaun, Lalitpur.

Interested bidders should complete Annex- Bid Application form and submit in person or email to address below. The last date of submission of the bid is 13th November 2026 (Kartik 27, 2083).

Bids will be opened on 16th November 2026 at 11:00 AM at the SOH Office in the presence of bidders or their authorized representatives who wish to attend. The bid opening will proceed even if some or all bidders are absent.

Terms and Conditions:

a. Applicants must submit their bids using the prescribed application form (Annex–1) in a sealed envelope. The envelope must be clearly marked "Application for Vehicle Auction."

b. In case the bids submitted by email, the bids using the prescribed application form (Annex-1) should be in pdf document and password protected. The password will be provided only upon the request made by SOH on the bid opening day. The subject of the email must be clearly written “Application for Vehicle Auction”.

c. Among the applications received within the specified deadline, the vehicle shall be awarded to the highest eligible bidder.

d. The successful bidder shall bear all expenses related to the transfer of ownership, including but not limited to road tax, insurance, ownership transfer fees, and any other applicable charges.

e. If the successful bidder fails to complete the purchase within seven (7) working days of being notified or declines to purchase the vehicle, the organization reserves the right to offer the vehicle to the second-highest bidder.

f. The vehicle shall remain the property of Shangri-La Orphanage Home (SOH) until the full payment has been received and the ownership transfer process has been completed.

g. The successful bidder must remove the vehicle from the premises of the Center within one (1) week after completion of the ownership transfer.

h. The vehicle is being sold on an "As Is, Where Is" basis, and the organization provides no warranty or guarantee of any kind regarding its condition or performance.

i. Shangri-La Orphanage Home (SOH) reserves the right to cancel, amend, or extend the auction process at any time without assigning any reason.
