Background
Plan International is an independent development and humanitarian organisation that advances children’s rights and equality for girls. Plan International has been working in Nepal since 1978 helping marginalized children, their families and communities to access their rights to survival, protection and participation. With the close coordination of local partners and stakeholders, we are working in 14 districts across the country.
We invite applications from interested candidates for Nepal Flash Floods Response in the following positions:
1. Emergency Response Specialist based in Nuwakot (Open to all applicants, Short Term employment of Six Months).
Responsibilities: The role will oversee the Nepal Flash Flood Response in the field and will be required to support the emergency responses activities at the field level by capacitating Plan as well as Partner Staff for smooth implementation. The position holder will work with operational support departments to support integration of emergency response into standard tools, guidance and systems. The role will collaborate closely with the implementing and technical partners and other stakeholders for proper coordination.

Responsibilities: The post holder will ensure all project activities are implemented in the project area with quality and on time. The position holder is responsible to work closely with the Partners and other stakeholders for smooth implementation and coordinate day to day operations at District level. The role will represent Plan International in relevant external fora and inter-agency coordination groups at the District level.

3. Logistics & Procurement Coordinator based in Nuwakot (Open to all applicants, Short Term employment of Six Months).
Responsibilities: The position holder will be responsible to coordinate and manage logistics and procurement support for humanitarian and emergency response operations. The position will ensure the timely, efficient, transparent, and compliant procurement of goods and services, overseeing warehouse, fleet, transportation, inventory, and other logistics functions. including administrative support in compliance with Plan International Nepal’s policies and procedures for smooth functioning the Nepal Flash Floods in Project area.
