VACANCIES
Kathmandu Forestry College (KAFCOL) Public Limited is a dynamic and expanding academic institution located in Chandragiri-8, Gairigaun, Kathmandu. Since its inception in 2005 the college has been offering B.Sc. Forestry program in affiliation with Tribhuvan University, Nepal. Additionally, since 2009, it has been running a Diploma in Forestry program in collaboration with the Council for Technical Education and Vocational Training (CTEVT) of the Government of Nepal.
In 2012, KAFCOL partnered with the University of Salzburg, Austria, to jointly offer an MSc in the UNIGIS Program in Geographical Information Science and Systems (UNIGIS MSc). Furthermore, in 2015, the college launched a new M.Sc. Program in Natural Resources Management and Rural Development (MSc in NRM-RD) in affiliation with Tribhuvan University.
KAFCOL is also actively engaged in research and outreach projects focusing on biodiversity, forestry, and natural resources management. The college was established through a joint effort by the Nepal Agroforestry Foundation, a national NGO dedicated to promoting agroforestry, and a group of forestry and natural resource management professionals.
KAFCOL invites applications from young, dynamic, and self-motivated individuals for the following positions across teaching, research, and management.

| 2 | Operations Coordinator | 1 | Applicants must hold a master’s degree in Business Studies, Business Administration, Human Resource Management, or a related field, with a minimum of five years of relevant professional experience in administrative operations, financial management, and human resource management in recognized institutions. |
| 3 | Full-Time Faculty (BSc Forestry, & MSc NRM-RD) | 4 | Applicants must hold a master’s degree, preferably PhD, in a relevant field such as Natural Resource Management, Forestry, Agroforestry, Watershed Management, Environmental Studies, Wildlife Management, Climate Change, or a related discipline, with at least three years of teaching experience in a recognized college, university, or research and development institution. |
| 4 | Examination & Communication Officer | 1 | Applicants must hold a bachelor’s degree in a relevant field such as Education, Management, Forestry, Agroforestry, or Environmental Science, with a minimum of two years of experience in examination and communication roles in recognized colleges, universities, or related institutions. |
| 5 | Library & Lab Officer | 1 | Applicants must hold a bachelor’s degree in Forestry, Agroforestry, Environmental Science, or a related field, with a minimum of two years of experience in library and laboratory roles in recognized colleges, universities, or research and development institutions. |
| 6 | Accounts Officer | 1 | Applicants must hold a bachelor’s degree in Commerce, Business Studies, Business Administration, or be a Chartered Accountant, with at least two years of relevant experience in accounting and finance in recognized colleges, universities, or related institutions |
| 7 | Front Desk/Admin Officer | 1 | Applicants must hold a bachelor’s degree in arts, Commerce, Business Studies, Administration, Communication, or a related field, with at least two years of relevant experience in administration and hospitality management in recognized colleges, universities, or related institutions. |
| 8 | Support Staff | 1 | Applicants must have passed Class 8 or higher and be able to follow instructions, work well with others, and maintain basic cleanliness and hygiene. Candidates should also be physically fit to carry out routine support duties. |
