Jalpa Integrated Development Society (JIDS) Udayapur is a non-political and non-profitable NGO established in 1994 by a group of Udayapur marginalized group activists. Since then, JIDS Udayapur is fully dedicated to work in humanitarian assistance, community development, livelihood, child well-being, and environmental protection mainly in the Hilly region of Nepal through the humanitarian and long-term development projects.

In partnership with World Vision International Nepal, JIDS Udayapur has been implementing “Sponsorship Operation Program (SOP) and Core Project Models of Citizens Voice and Actions, Child Protection, IMPACT+" through the integrated programme framework (IPF)  to ensure wellbeing of most vulnerable children and families in two Municipalities Triyuga and Katari, and  Four Rural Municipalities Rautamai, Limchungbung, Udayapurgadhi and Tapli. JIDS Udayapur is seeking qualified, dynamic and motivated Nepali citizens on the following positions.

1Program Co-coordinator - 1Bachelor's degree in Humanities, Education, Child Rights and Law or related fields
  • Bachelor’s degree in Humanities, Education, Child Rights and Law or equivalent with minimum 3 years working experience and master’s degree with 2 years in managing/leading multiple projects with diverse.
  • Proven ability to manage risks and promote governance to contribute to strategic project outcomes
  • Experience working with children and their well-being in both development and emergency contexts. Have good technical knowledge and experience on protection, child right, and advocacy sector, with strong capacity of real time data and information management
  • Proven project management and financial management experience,
  • Diverse team management to yield quality results within the stipulated time
2Admin and Finance Officer - 1
  • Bachelor's degree in business administration/ business studies or related fields and
  • Master's degree is preferred
  • At least 2 years of experience in the similar position in I/NGOs includes financial reporting, supply chain, fleet and logistics management, admin and store management, event management and should have ability to speak and write English clearly.
  • Computer skills of Microsoft Offices (Excel, Word, PowerPoint) and Email-Internet
  • Any financial off/online accounting software (FAMAS, PFMS, Agresso, Sun, QuickBooks etc.) is highly preferred.
  • Knowledge about the prevailing tax act of GoN., and experience in budget planning and reporting.
3MEAL Officer - 1Bachelor's degree in Humanities, Education, Business Studies or related fields
  • Minimum 1–2 years of experience in monitoring, evaluation, or learning functions, preferably in NGO/INGO settings.
  • Experience using MS Excel, or other digital data collection platforms.
  • Good analytical, report-writing, and facilitation skills.
  • Commitment to teamwork, accountability, and community engagement principles.
4Protection Officer - 1Bachelor's degree in social work, sociology, law, or related fields
  • At least 2 years of experience in protection systems with good coordination, stakeholder mapping, and mobilization.
  • Strong understanding of child protection, survivor-centered approach, CP-related laws, policies and mechanisms.
  • Demonstrated experience in capacity building of children, parents and caregivers, community campaigning, CP case management, and policy advocacy.
  • Knowledge of project management.
  • Experience working with community groups and children including community orientations and training facilitation.
  • Strong experience in CP-related capacity building/ training facilitation
  • Monthly budget forecast and planning, quarterly expense tracking, and review of expenses.
  • Good report writing skills for semi-annual and annual reports
  • Sound skills in capacity assessment/training need assessment process and tools for staff and target group and project staff mentoring and onsite support
  • Skilled in using Microsoft office applications
5Psychosocial Counselling Officer - 1Minimum bachelor's degree in related field
  • 6 months' training in psychosocial counseling (face-to-face is preferred).
  • Strong understanding of psychosocial counselling support, its' principles and standards.
  • Strong understanding of child protection, survivor-centered approach, CP-related laws, policies and mechanisms.
  • Demonstrated experience MHPSS related activities with minimum of 1 year experience in delivering psychosocial counselling to children and women.
  • Able to travel frequently and operate MHPSS clinics.
  • Have the ability to manage cases.
  • Ability to facilitate MHPSS capacity building events
  • Monthly budget forecast and planning, quarterly expense tracking, and review of expenses.
  • Good report writing skills for semi-annual and annual reports
  • Sound skills in capacity assessment/training need assessment process and tools for staffs and target group and project staff mentoring and onsite support
  • Skilled in using Microsoft office applications
6Community Mobiliser (IPF) - 4Intermediate (+2) in Management/ Humanities, Educations or related fields
  • Higher Secondary degree (+ 2) with more than 1 years’ experience in community mobilization
  • Understanding and knowledge of children’s issues, child protection, livelihood, health and nutrition and child rights
  • Strong understanding of community dynamics with skills to communicate and build rapport with children and community
  • Strong coordination skills with local level stakeholders (Parents, school management committee, child clubs, health institutions, rural municipality, cooperatives and various community groups)
  • Computer and Technology literacy; Good computer skills including Word and Excel
7Supply Chain Management and Admin Assistant- 1Intermediate (+2) in Management or Commerce or related fields
  • 2 years of experience or internship in administrative, Supply Chain and financial assistive roles.
  • Experience and knowledge on strategic sourcing processes, and compliances management.
  • Computer skills of MS- Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Email-Internet and SCM software.
8 IMPACT+ Officer - 2Bachelor's degree in social sciences or a related discipline
  • Knowledge of experiential education methodologies, positive youth development, and local economic development approaches and methods.
  • Experience in supporting young people with developing appropriate life and work readiness skills.
  • Proven ability to provide community support and understanding of community development and participatory processes.
  • Experience and recognized expertise in models and methods of training, facilitation and capacity building for staff and communities.
  • Experience in quantitative and qualitative data collection methods, including sampling, survey design, data analysis, and the application of these methods to project Design, Monitoring and Evaluation standards
  • Experience in working with diverse stakeholders, including community members, government agencies, NGOs, and the private sector and community-based organizations
  • Monthly budget forecast and planning, quarterly expense tracking, and review of expenses.
  • Good report writing skills for semi-annual and annual reports
  • Sound skills in capacity assessment/training need assessment process and tools for staffs and target group and project staff mentoring and onsite support
  • Skilled in using Microsoft Office applications
