Summary:

Community Development & Advocacy Forum Nepal (CDAFN) Bardibas, Mahottari is a NGO dedicated to uphold the rights of marginalized and excluded communities through its interventions on Health, Education, Livelihood, Protection and Climate Change Adaptation Mitigation, Chure Conservation, Disaster Risk Reduction Management, Biodiversity Conservation and Humanitarian Support including Organizational Development and GEDSI. It works with a vision for Building a Civilized and Prosperous Society with Equality and Social Justice in Nepal since 2006. It works with a mission to improve the lives of people through economic, social, cultural and physical transformation. It has been implementing SPP-KOICA Project in Mahottari District in partnership with Save the Children International Nepal.

Position: Sr. Project Coordinator 

Required No.: 1 (One) 

Duty Station: Project Office Aurahi / Loharpatti  (70% field visit in  project area)

Required qualification, experience, skill and knowledge

Education: Master’s degree in sociology/management or developmental studies.

Experience: At least 5 years of minimum experience in relevant field 

Skills:

  • Management and supervision
  • Program design, planning and execution
  • Computer skills and English proficiency
  • Coordination, representation, and negotiation
  • Training, coaching, and mentoring
  • Reporting and analytical skills
  • Financial management and data verification.

JD_Senior Project Coordinator

Position: MEAL and Documentation Coordinator

Required No.: 1 (One) 

Duty Station: Project Office Aurahi / Loharpattari (70% field visit in  project area)

Required qualification, experience, skill and knowledge

Education: Master/bachelor’s degree in science/economics/development studies/ Social Science/public health/ education or a related field from a recognized institution. Master degrees will be added value. 

Experience: At least 3 years of relevant experience. Or prior experience in education program implementation. Experience working in multicultural environments.

Skills:

  • Proficiency in computer skills specially MS- office package and KOBO.
  • Strong communication, analytical, and report-writing abilities.
  • Basic proficiency in written and spoken English.  
  • Enthusiasm for working with diverse, multidisciplinary teams and rural communities. 
  • Demonstrated ability to coordinate with relevant stakeholders.

Position: Finance Coordinator

Required No.: 1 (One) 

Duty Station: Project Office Aurahi / Loharpatti  

Required qualification, experience, skill and knowledge

Education: Master/ bachelor’s degree in accounting, Finance, Business Administration with courses in accounting, or a qualification in accounting (CPA/ACCA or equivalent). Masters would be a plus. 

Experience: At least 5 years of experience in an operation and finance position with similar responsibilities is required, preferably with an international or local NGO, or a financial/banking institution with 3 years of relevant experience.

Skills:

  • Ability to analyze information, evaluate options and to think and plan strategically. 
  • Excellent interpersonal, communication and presentation skills. 
  • Substantial experience and knowledge of effective financial and budgetary control.
  • Excellent understanding of financial systems and procedures.
  • Excellent experience of computerized accounts packages, Excel, PowerPoint and Word

Required qualification, experience, skill and knowledge

Education: Master's Degree in Agriculture/TEVT, Social Science or Rural Development or any other discipline with three years or bachelor’s degree with five years of work experience in Youth Employment related project.

Experience: At least three years of field experience in Youth Employment and TEVT program implementation.  

  • Expertise in business counseling.
  • Familiarity with participatory community mobilization methods and child protection policies.  
  • Experience in building collaborative relationships with diverse stakeholders.  

Skills:

  • Strong skills in log-framework plan development and outcome-based monitoring.
  • Proficiency in computing skills.  
  • Strong communication, analytical, and report-writing abilities.  
  • Basic proficiency in written and spoken English.  
  • Enthusiasm for working with diverse, multidisciplinary teams and rural communities.  
  • Demonstrated ability to coordinate with relevant stakeholders.
