Working for Access and Creation Nepal (WAC-Nepal) is nonprofit, non-government and nonpolitical humanitarian development organization has been implementing “Safe and Enabling Environment for Adolescent Girls and Young Women (SAFE-Girls) Project” in the partnership with Good Neighbors International Nepal. The project has been implementing in Sanphebagar Municipality, Mangalshain Municipality and Kamalbazar Municipality of the Achham district. WAC- Nepal is seeking qualified, dynamic and motivated Nepali citizens on the following positions for smooth implementation of the project.
1. Position: Project Coordinator (Gender)
Required Number: 1
Based on: WAC Nepal Head Office Achham
Minimum Qualification and experience:
- Master Degree in Public Health, Gender Studies/Women’s studies, Sociology, Development Studies other related fields with three years of relevant experience in gender-based violence, gender equality, reproductive rights, adolescent/youth empowerment, public health.
Major Responsibility
- Oversee project activities in Achham district, ensuring alignment with project document and work plan.
- Foster collaboration with provincial and local governments and development partners for gender-responsive policy and legislation.
- Formulate and execute capacity building plan for adolescent girls and young women to act as change agents.
- Provide technical guidance and support to local governments for gender-transforming in-school CSE curricula.
- Conduct periodic meetings with technical task-team and attend project coordination committees.
- Support provincial coordinators in conducting surveys, research, and evaluations of GBV-related activities.
- Prepare and manage quality of periodic reports, case studies, case stories, knowledge products, and IEC-BCC materials.
- Draft and adapt activities to local context based on project result framework, multiyear strategy, and annual work plan.
- Reporting and complete other tasks delegated by organization.

2. Position: Project Officer (Gender) - Female Only
Required Number: 3
Based on: Sanphebagar Municipality, Mangalshain Municipality and Kamalbazar Municipality of the Achham district
Minimum Qualification and experience:
- At least a Bachelor's degree in Public Health, Sociology, Health and Population with a specialization in Gender Studies, and minimum of 2 years of experience in GESI, GBV, ASRH and related fields.
Major Responsibility
- Coordinate meetings and workshops with municipal government team.
- Participate in seven-step planning process with youth/adolescent groups.
- Ensure project activities are reflected in municipality's annual plan.
- Engage with local youth/adolescent networks to mobilize GEDSI, SBC, and social norms activities.
- Provide training/orientation on promoting gender equality.
- Support capacity building training and orientation to facilitators, peer mentors, and FCHVs.
- Collect and report data on best practices, lessons learned, and case studies.
- Prepare monthly and periodic progress reports about the project.
- Support assessments, data collection from health facilities and surveys.
- Closely monitor to the Adolescent Girls Groups sessions and provide technical support to peer mentors and facilitator.
- Monitor and report on project-related gender issues.
- Collaborate with local government units to promote gender-responsive policy, planning, and legislation.
- Serve as focal point for coordinating project activities for local government representatives.
- Complete other tasks delegated by organization.

3. Position: Admin and Finance Officer
Required Number: 1
Based on: WAC Nepal Head Office Achham
Minimum Qualification and experience:
- Bachelor’s degree in finance or business administration with 3 years of experience working in the sector of finance and administration.
Major Responsibility
- Lead finance and administration part of the project and p prepare finance reports.
- Track order forms, invoices, travel claims, and cash reconciliations.
- Ensure the financial compliance and management
- Keep updated records of all financial transactions by maintaining cost effectiveness and tracking budget allocation.
- Implement financial policies, procedures, and directives and cross-verify all financial transactions by staff.
- Provide administrative support to project office.
- Keep records of office supplies, materials, and equipment.
- Engage in procurement process as per procurement Policy and guideline.
- Manage inventory and prepare inventory reports.
- Complete the other tasks delegated by organization.
