Bagmati Welfare Society Nepal (BWSN), a non-governmental, non-profit, community-based organization working since 2006 in the sectors of health, education, agriculture, DRR, and social inclusion across Madhesh Province, is preparing to submit a proposal for an international donor-funded project . The project aims to strengthen climate-resilient, mechanized irrigation and promote sustainable agriculture in Madhesh Province.

To enhance our technical capacity for this initiative, BWSN invites applications from qualified and motivated Nepali citizens for the following positions. Please note that these positions are advertised on a contingent recruitment basis and subject to funding availability.

4. Agriculture Specialist / Team Leader – 1
5. Agronomist – 1
6. Agriculture Extension Specialist – 1
7. Administrative and Finance Specialist – 1

11. Agribusiness Specialist – 1

Minimum Qualifications (Summary)

• Key Experts: Master’s degree in relevant discipline with 10–15 years of professional experience in agriculture, irrigation, or cooperative development.
• Junior Technicians/JTAs: Diploma/Certificate in Agriculture with relevant field experience.
• Social Mobilizers: Minimum 10+2 with experience in community engagement and group facilitation.
• Computer Operator: Intermediate level with proficiency in MS Office and Nepali typing.
• Office Helper: Literate and physically fit candidates with willingness to work in rural settings.

Duty Station

Project office and field sites in Madhesh Province, with occasional travel to coordination meetings at provincial or central levels.
