World Vision International (WVI) Nepal is a part of the World Vision International global partnership operating in nearly 100 countries. WVI started its long-term development programme in Nepal in 2001 to contribute for well-being of children. At present, WVI Nepal has long-term development programmes in 17 districts, namely Udayapur, Sarlahi, Mahottari, Rautahat, Sindhuli, Kathmandu, Lalitpur, Lamjung, Jumla, Kailali, Kanchanpur, Achham, Doti, Dailekh, Jajarkot, Banke and Bajhang across the seven provinces of Nepal.

World Vision International Nepal (WVI Nepal) has launched a Category II Emergency Response in the priority districts of Rasuwa and Nuwakot, Bagmati Province, following devastating flash floods along the Bhote Koshi and Trishuli river corridors that caused casualties, displacement and extensive damage across Rasuwa, Nuwakot and Dhading. The 12-month Nepal Flash Flood Response (NFFR) 2026 plan targets 25,000 people, including 10,000 children, from around 5,000 affected households across seven sectors, moving from relief into early recovery.

1. Operations Manager [1]
Work Base: Nuwakot District
Duration: One year
The Operation Manager will lead the implementation of the Nepal Flash Flood Response projects in Rasuwa and Nuwakot, ensuring timely, quality and accountable delivery in line with the approved response plan, donor requirements and WVI Nepal’s strategy.
The role will oversee multi-sector humanitarian interventions, provide guidance and quality assurance to Partner NGOs, and lead coordination with local governments, donors, UN agencies and other stakeholders. The incumbent will ensure effective project planning, reporting, financial and supply chain management, monitoring, compliance and team coordination, while using data and evidence to support timely decisions and adaptive management.
The role will also promote staff well-being, safety and safeguarding and work closely with Finance, MEAL, Communications and other support functions to ensure effective response delivery and early recovery.

Operations Manager, Flash Flood Response

2. Programme Coordinator [1]
Work Base: Nuwakot District
Duration: One year
The Programme Coordinator leads the Programmes function of the Nepal Flash Flood Response 2026 accountable for ensuring the response is designed, planned, monitored, evidenced and adapted on the basis of humanitarian need. The role works closely with WVI Nepal’s partners and leads response planning and design, the MEAL system, information management and reporting, and humanitarian accountability, and manages resource allocation and funding tracking with Finance. Grant acquisition sits outside the role, which supports it with evidence and technical content and leads donor and Support Office reporting. The position line manages the MEAL Officer and Information Management Officer.
