Background of Everest Club, Dailekh

Everest Club (EC), established in 1993, is a non-governmental, non-profit organization based in Dailekh, Karnali Province. EC works in livelihoods, WASH, disaster risk reduction, health, education, and community resilience. With over three decades of experience, EC has successfully implemented a diverse range of development and humanitarian projects in partnership with government agencies, international donors, and local stakeholders.

EC has strong expertise in livestock promotion, climate-smart agriculture, and livelihood enhancement, making it well-positioned to implement the BIKASH Project – Goat Support Program in Dungeshwor and Gurans Rural Municipalities of Dailekh District.

Background Context

Under the BIKASH Project – Goat Support Program, Everest Club supports persons with disabilities and their family members in engaging with livelihood opportunities. The project seeks to supply improved goat breeds, enhance livestock management skills, and promote sustainable, climate-resilient livelihoods.

To achieve this, EC invites qualified and experienced suppliers to submit bids for the supply and delivery of healthy, disease-free goats as per the technical specifications outlined in this document.

Objectives

General Objective

• To procure and supply healthy, disease-free goats of specified breeds and weights to targeted households in Dungeshwor and Gurans Rural Municipalities of Dailekh District.

Specific Objectives

• Ensure timely supply and delivery of goats as per the required quality and quantity.
• Provide improved goat breeds that support income generation and nutritional security.
• Promote sustainable livestock-based livelihoods through veterinary-certified, healthy livestock distribution.

• Issued Date: 19 August 2025
• Submission Deadline: 7 September 2025, 17:00 hrs (Nepal Time)
• Bid Opening: 9 September 2025, 01:30 hrs at EC Office, Dailekh
• Bid Validity: 20 days from submission deadline
• Delivery Location: Gurans RM & Dungeshwor RM, Dailekh
• Delivery Deadline: On or before 30 September 2025
