Production of Video PSA for Social Media

1. Background

Women Skill Creation Centre, Nepal (hereinafter referred to as WoSCC) is a well-established social organization registered in 1992 under the concerned authority of the government of Nepal and has been actively moving for more than 30 years. It has been running various programs with the mutual effort of board members and staff, high motivation, dedication, and willpower to achieve the goal through different obstacles seen since its establishment. WoSCC in partnership and funding support from AWO International, BMZ is implementing the “Promotion of Safe Migration in Makwanpur District” Project at Raksirang Rural Municipality, Makwanpur, Bagmati Province. 

To raise public awareness and improve advocacy efforts, the project would like to engage a video producer company/firm/individual to produce a Public Service Announcement (video PSA) in Nepali Language for awareness and informative message delivery on Safe Migration and Anti-Human Trafficking.

2. Objective of the assignment

The objective of the assignment is to produce a quality, informative Public Service Announcement (Video PSA) in Nepali for awareness and information on Safe Migration and Anti-Human Trafficking.

3. Scope of Work

Scope of the work includes;

Development of story, script, and messages to deliver awareness and informative messages on Safe Migration and Anti-Human Trafficking.

• Aware, and inform target audiences on the consequences of unsafe migration, benefits and needs of migration with demanding skills etc.
• Consult with WoSCC Team for finalization of story, script, delivery messages, length of video, etc.
• Identify, hire message delivery actor(s), celebrity. 
• Indoor/Outdoor Shooting, recording of the Video.
• Complete editing and post-production with subtitles in English.
• Upload produced videos on YouTube, and social media (TikTok, Facebook, LinkedIn, etc.) having more subscribers and followers.
• Prepare and submit a short completion report.

4. Methodology

• Pre-production meeting with WoSCC Team for information sharing. 
• Short film, Song, Speech, or mixed method for video production.

5. Duration

The duration of the assignment is 7 working days after the signing of the contract, which may exclude days for pre-production meetings and reporting.

6. Required Skills and Competency

• Having experience in developing and producing short videos, short films, and short advertisements on awareness, advocacy, and public welfare.
• Knowledge of Safe Migration and Anti-Human Trafficking will be an added advantage.

7. Key Deliverables

• Quality Video PSA on Safe Migration and Anti-Human Trafficking awareness messages with English Subtitles.
• Dissemination of Video PSA through YouTube and other social media
• Task Completion Report submission.

8. Payments

Payment schedule will be as below, applicable taxes will be deducted according to government policy.

• 10% - after signing the agreement
• 20% - after finalization of story, script, methodology of message delivery of Video PSA 
• 70% - after delivery of all deliverables

9. Terms and Conditions

• WoSCC reserves the right to accept and reject any proposal without giving any verbal and /or written rationale.
• Final videos produced during the assignment will be treated as the project’s property 
• Raw footage, clips, or any part of the video, therefore, cannot be sold, used, or reproduced in any manner without prior written approval of AWO International and WoSCC. 
• The consultant should not expose children or any stakeholder to any risk of harm or abuse during the video PSA production. The consultant must sign and abide by the Code of Conduct as well as applicable policies of the Nepal Government, and WoSCC.

10. Application Procedure

Interested Companies/firms/individuals are requested to submit the following documents to wosccnepal2049@gmail.com no later than 09 October 2023, with the subject line: Video PSA Production.

• A Proposal with a Letter of Interest, stating methodologies, the approach to video PSA production
• Links, and proof of similar work previously done for other clients.
• Financial offer indicating major necessary expenses related to the assignment.
• Registration and other legal documents proving the eligibility of the applicant to take the assignment.
