, a leading international consulting firm based in Washington, D.C., seeks qualified candidates for several senior-level positions for an anticipated health program funded by the U.S. Agency for International Development (USAID) in Nepal. These senior health advisors will be responsible for developing and implementing technical activities that will support cross-cutting health system strengthening interventions.
STRATEGIC INFORMATION SENIOR ADVISOR
: Responsible for overall project monitoring and evaluation. Oversees strengthening of the existing health management information system (HMIS) and expands use of public health analytic tools to build data-use capacity among District Health Office Managers. Liaises with GON, donors, academia, research institutes and other USAID health programs to identify health research priorities in Nepal.
Qualifications
:
• At least 5 years of experience in monitoring and evaluating health programs/projects
• Minimum of Bachelor’s degree in statistics, health sciences, population studies (demography), social sciences, Master’s degree preferred.
• Demonstrated experience in the use of data for decision-making, designing M&E plans for large programs, and using of a wide range of tools for measuring program results.
• Fluency in English and Nepali required.
