SENIOR PROJECT COORDINATOR

Senior Project Coordinator –

Summary of Job Purpose: The Senior Project Coordinator will lead the planning and implementation of the SAAN program, working closely with the Technical Lead (Program Manager for Managing Risks through Economic Development - MRED Program) and coordinating with other related programs within in Mercy Corps Nepal Disaster Risk Reduction and Resilience portfolio. This position will be responsible for overseeing and driving the successful execution of program activities ensuring high-quality results.

Educational qualifications and experience: Bachelor’s Degree in disaster risk management/Climate change, social sciences, international development or other relevant fields with 5-7 years of experience. Supports the development of program or function strategy development and leading the implementation of DRR work with a vision of longer-term, multi-sector integrated projects, with a strong understanding of resilience approaches as well. Strong interpersonal and communication skills and ability to develop good relationships with government stakeholders.
