For: Gender Equality and Social Inclusion (GESI) Analysis for MKCL

Muktinath Krishi Company Limited (MKCL), in partnership with the Dutch Fund for Climate and Development (DFCD) through SNV Netherlands Development Organisation, invites qualified consulting firms or individual consultants to submit an Expression of Interest (EOI) for undertaking a Gender Equality and Social Inclusion (GESI) Analysis for MKCL.

The purpose of this assignment is to assess MKCL’s business model, internal systems, and operational practices through a GESI lens to identify gaps, risks, opportunities, and barriers in promoting gender equality and social inclusion across its subsidiaries. The study will inform the preparation of a GESI Action Plan and capacity-building initiatives that enhance MKCL’s inclusive business operations.

Key Objectives:

• Identify GESI risks, opportunities, and gaps in MKCL’s business and subsidiaries.
• Assess impacts on women, marginalized, and excluded groups in MKCL’s value chains.
• Recommend strategies and develop a practical GESI Action Plan.
• Build capacity of MKCL staff and stakeholders on GESI integration.

Eligibility Criteria:

• Advanced qualifications in gender studies, social sciences, agriculture, or development studies.
• Proven experience in conducting GESI analyses and developing GESI Action Plans.
• Knowledge of Responsible Business Conduct (RBC), ESMS, and agribusiness sector operations in Nepal or South Asia.

Duration:

Maximum of 60 working days over a period of 4 months (expected start date: 7 December 2025).
