CDC Doti is a Provincial non-profit organization, NGO working for the social and economic empowerment of people under the vulnerable zone and community. It was established on 16/09/2049 B.S and has been serving since 30 years for the same cause for social empowerment, inclusive and quality access to education, Disaster Preparedness and Humanitarian Response. Over the period since its inception, CDC has had long experience working with government, international non-government agencies, community based organization in various sectors of social and economic development. In addition, CDC supports community capacity strengthening for rural development, community groups and people on advocacy development in various sectors. CDC believes in human potentials and strives to empower social well-being, community-led development, accountability to community, donors and stakeholders, government and non-government agencies. In this period CDC Doti has developed strong networking, professional relationship among various organizations, networks and structures in the district and province . CDC has hands-on experience on social development, capacity strengthening of local level government, community based organization in Nepal.

Background of Organization:
The Community Development Centre (CDC), established in B.S. 2049 by a group of committed development professionals and activists, is a well-recognized non-governmental organization with over three decades of experience in community empowerment and social transformation. With strong technical expertise, sound financial management systems, and a deep understanding of local contexts, CDC has successfully implemented inclusive and multi-sectoral programs across Sudurpaschim Province.
CDC’s core areas of work include child protection, inclusive education, health, WASH, disaster risk reduction, youth engagement, women’s empowerment, and civil society strengthening. The organization has been actively addressing critical challenges such as harmful social practices, governance gaps, low educational performance, inadequate service delivery, and persistent barriers faced by children and marginalized groups. Through rights-based and community-led approaches, CDC has played a significant role in improving the protection, participation, and well-being of vulnerable children and communities.
Currently, CDC is planning to implement a anticipatory Children’s Rights–focused and CSO Strengthening related project in Sudurpaschim Province, aimed at enhancing child protection systems, promoting child rights, and strengthening the capacity of local civil society organizations to effectively advocate for and deliver child-centered services. To ensure the effective and timely implementation of project activities, CDC invites applications from qualified, dynamic, and motivated Nepali citizens for the following position(s).

As the project is solely focused on child protection, CDC seeks candidates with strong and proven experience in child protection programming. In addition, experience in CSO strengthening and capacity development is highly desirable. Excellent English writing skills are essential for this position, as the role requires high-quality documentation, reporting, and communication with stakeholders and partners.
