Qualification

• Master's degree in management, business, or related field.
• Three years' experience on project management and proposal writing after master's degree

Required competencies

• Strong interpersonal and communication skills, both oral and written, with fluency in Nepali and English.
• High degree of independent action and adherence to strict timelines.
• Strong organizational skills, analytical and problem-solving abilities, and attention to detail.
• Ability to operate independently and make independent judgments and to act on decisions on a daily basis.
• Leadership skills with ability to negotiate and work collaboratively.
• Ability to represent the work and organization with professional maturity and engage with senior stakeholders. Previous experience working with government and elected officials is preferred.
• Flexibility to attend virtual meetings outside regular office hours at least once per week.

Key Responsibilities

• Responsible for assembling project plans, team and work assignments, directing and monitoring work efforts daily, identifying resource needs, and escalating functional, quality, and timeline issues appropriately.
• Execute assigned project and work plans to ensure goals are delivered on time and within the budget.
• Work with manager, stakeholders and peers to achieve milestones.
• May perform needs assessments and analyses regarding health system, community and participants' needs for the basis of program development.
• Serve a critical role as liaison, facilitate meetings between project stakeholders, consultants, faculty, staff and leadership, complete and maintain documentation for projects and deliverables.
  • Manage strong relationships and communicate regularly with a wide range of stakeholders.
  • Support dissemination efforts, including manuscript preparation, presentations, and stakeholder engagement. Collaborate with the Communications Manager on public outreach, presentation and collateral development, and reports related to the work stream.
  • Communicate regularly with international partners and counterpart program managers related to partnership needs.
  • Host staff, students and consultants as needed.
  • In collaboration with the finance team, develop invoices, verify and oversee the reconciliation of budget expenditures and projections.
  • Lead operational and logistical details of events, travel and training related to the workstream.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.
