Save the Children and Helen Keller International together with its partners is implementing the SABAL program in Sindhuli district funded by USAID 2014-19 in the field of Livelihood, Health & Nutrition and DRR/CCA. It aims to increase resilience for targeted vulnerable community in Nepal, and is being implemented in close coordination with the Government of Nepal Ministry of Agriculture Development, Health and Population, Federal Affairs and Local Development and other relevant line ministers, district level line agencies and local NGO Partners.

Hamro Prayash Nepal is a local NGO established in 2061 BS in Sindhuli district and currently awarded USAID funded SABAL Program. Hence, Hamro Prayash Nepal Sindhuli is seeking applications from local qualified, experienced, self motivated and result oriented Nepalese citizens for following positions to implement SABAL program in 19 Non Focus Bhahuntilpung, Balajor,Belghari,Khangsang Focus,Bhimsthan, Dudhouli, Dudhbhanjyang,Harsahi,Jarayotar,kholagaun,Ladhavir,Tandi,Pokhari,Lampantar,Ranibas,Ranichuri,Solpathana,Sirthouli and Toshramkhola and  4 Focus ( Ambote, Jonakhu, Arunthakur, Kakurthankur) VDCs of Sindhuli District.

Job Title: Program Officer (PO)                                                             

No. of Position: One (1)      

Duty Station: 70% SABAL working VDCs and 30% at District HQ

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES: 

• Supportive supervision to enhance the ability/capacity of subordinates and field teams on management, technical enhancement through training, coaching and mentoring. Support to Program Coordinator to prepare monthly, quarterly and annual result based reports. 
• Carry out performance appraisal of subordinates and recommend to Program Coordinator according the organizational rules and regulations. 
• Prepare monthly action plan and mobilize the team members to implement planned activities with standard quality. Support field based staff to deliver quality trainings to Sabal beneficiaries including local stakeholders such as VDC, WCF, VWASHCC, HFOMC, LDMC etc.
• Overall program planning, monitoring and qualitative & quantitative result documentation of health and nutrition focused working area. 

QUALIFICATION & EXPERIENCES:

• Bachelor in social science with must have 3 years experience in social mobilization, experienced to produce a better-quality result based report. Preference will be given to the person with paramedical academic qualification with Bachelor in Social Science. Having two-wheeler driving license and interested to drive his/her own motorbike on reimbursement of cost incurred during office task.
