Applications are invited from interested, committed, dynamic team players and experienced Nepali nationals for the following position:
Program Manager – 1 no (Kathmandu Based) | Summary of Job Purpose: The Program Manager will assume overall responsibility for the management and implementation of the M-RED Nepal program, coordinating with other Disaster Risk Reduction and Management programs in Nepal. The position will take leadership on program strategies, approaches and methods closely coordinating with the regional M-RED program being implemented in Nepal and Indonesia. The position will be responsible for generating high quality outputs and results; with strong team management, stakeholder management, communication, including high level representation skills. Educational qualifications and experience: Master’s degree or equivalent in disaster risk management/Climate change, social sciences, international development or other relevant with a minimum of 8 years of experience in project/program management positions and at least 3 years of experience in senior leadership role. Experience on strategy development and leading the implementation of DRR work with a vision of longer-term, multi-sector integrated projects, with a strong understanding of resilience approaches as well.
