About MyVoiceCounts and Novatrix
“MyVoiceCounts” is an international technology company and digital platform that helps political leaders, institutions, and organizations collect verified, anonymous public opinion and turn it into transparent, real-time insights.
As part of its activities in Nepal, MyVoiceCounts is collaborating with “Novatrix Digital”, a Kathmandu-based company specializing in public opinion research, market research, and stakeholder engagement.
Novatrix is seeking an experienced “Political & Institutional Relations Consultant” to help establish strong relationships with political parties, political leaders, government institutions, civil society organizations, and other influential stakeholders in Nepal.
The Role
This is a hands-on consulting role for a well-connected professional with a strong understanding of Nepal’s political and institutional environment.
The successful candidate must have an “established professional network within Nepal’s political and government sectors” and be able to directly facilitate introductions and meetings with political party leaders, elected representatives, policymakers, senior government officials, former officials, and other relevant decision-makers.
This role goes beyond general advisory work. The Consultant will be expected to actively open doors, build trusted relationships, organize high-level meetings, identify partnership opportunities, and support the local positioning of MyVoiceCounts.
Key Responsibilities
- Use existing professional connections to introduce MyVoiceCounts and Novatrix to political parties, political leaders, elected representatives, policymakers, senior government officials, and other influential stakeholders.
- Arrange and facilitate high-level meetings, presentations, interviews, consultations, and stakeholder discussions.
- Build and maintain professional, cross-party relationships with relevant political, governmental, and non-governmental institutions.
- Identify key decision-makers and organizations relevant to public opinion research, market research, civic engagement, and technology-enabled public participation.
- Identify opportunities for partnerships, pilot projects, research initiatives, and institutional collaboration.
- Advise management on Nepal’s political environment, government structures, administrative procedures, institutional protocols, and stakeholder dynamics.
- Provide guidance on how the MyVoiceCounts platform should be positioned for political, governmental, civil society, and research audiences in Nepal.
- Share market and stakeholder feedback that can help improve the platform’s local relevance, communication, and positioning.
- Represent MyVoiceCounts and Novatrix professionally in external meetings when authorized.
- Prepare brief meeting notes, stakeholder updates, opportunity assessments, and recommendations for management.
- Maintain confidentiality and exercise professional discretion when handling sensitive political, institutional, and commercial information.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Law, Political Science, Public Administration, International Relations, Management, Social Sciences, or another relevant field.
- Minimum five years of experience in government relations, political coordination, public affairs, institutional engagement, stakeholder management, or a related field.
- A strong and active professional network among political parties, political leaders, elected representatives, government officials, policymakers, and other senior stakeholders in Nepal.
- Proven ability to secure introductions and meetings with senior political and institutional decision-makers.
- Experience working with political parties, government institutions, public officials, civil society organizations, development partners, or public-sector projects.
- Strong understanding of Nepal’s political environment, government institutions, administrative processes, and stakeholder landscape.
- Excellent networking, communication, negotiation, and relationship-management skills.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills in Nepali and English.
- Ability to work independently, take initiative, exercise sound judgment, and follow through on agreed actions.
- High standards of integrity, confidentiality, political neutrality, and professional conduct.
Preferred Qualifications
- Master’s degree in Law, Political Science, Public Administration, International Relations, Public Policy, or a related field.
- Experience supporting public opinion research, political research, civic-engagement initiatives, or institutional partnerships.
- Professional networks across political, government, civil society, development, research, and private-sector institutions.
- Experience introducing technology, research, data, or civic-engagement solutions to institutional stakeholders.

The successful Consultant will:
- Connect MyVoiceCounts and Novatrix with relevant political leaders, parties, officials, and institutional decision-makers.
- Secure meaningful meetings and consultations with senior stakeholders.
- Build credible, long-term relationships across Nepal’s political and institutional landscape.
- Identify practical opportunities for partnerships, research projects, pilot programs, and platform adoption.
- Help MyVoiceCounts and Novatrix establish a trusted and professional presence in Nepal.
