Notice for Motorbike Auction

Heifer Project International Nepal (HPIN) invites interested individuals/firms/companies to submit their bid (offer) for the purchase of the used HPIN official motorbikes listed below and sold on “as is where is” basis. Motorbikes are available for inspection from 10 February to 13 February 2026 between 3:00 PM to 5:00 PM at the parking premises of HPIN at Lalitpur-15, Hattiban, Lalitpur.

Interested bidders are required to complete the Letter of Interest (LOI) form (downloadable from here). Bids must be submitted in a sealed envelope clearly marked “Bid for Motorbike Auction,” along with the completed LOI, a copy of citizenship certificate, and evidence of bid security, no later than 5:00 PM on 16 February 2026, to the following address:

Bid will open on 17 February 2026 at 11:00 AM at the HPIN office in the presence of bidders. Where the bidder is not present. HPIN shall proceed with the bid opening process. 

HPIN reserves the right to accept or reject any or all bids without giving reasons whatsoever. 

Terms and Conditions

• Potential buyers shall submit written offers using the prescribed template (download LOI) and submit them to the HPIN office before the deadline. The envelope must clearly state “Bid for Motorbike Auction” on the top.
• Bidders must submit a single bid covering all seven (7) motorbikes. Partial bid will be disqualified.
• A bid security of NPR 10,000 must be submitted in cash. The bid security of unsuccessful bidders shall be refunded. The bid security of the successful bidder shall be adjusted against the final purchase price.
• Offers shall be evaluated based on the highest bid. All costs related to the ownership transfer process, including road tax, insurance, and any other applicable charges, shall be borne by the selected bidder.
• Only offers received within the specified closing date and time shall be considered for evaluation.
• The highest bidder shall be invited via email to purchase the motorbikes. If the bidder fails to proceed within the specified period, the bid security shall be forfeited, and the second-highest bidder shall be invited to purchase the motorbikes.
• The motorbikes shall remain the property of HPIN until full payment is made and all required documentation for the transfer of ownership is completed.
• Payment shall be deposited into HPIN’s designated bank account. Bank account details will be communicated to the successful bidder.
• The motorbikes must be removed from HPIN premises within one week following the completion of the ownership transfer process.
• HPIN does not provide any warranty or guarantee on the motorbikes.
• HPIN reserves the right to cancel or extend the auction period at any time.
• HPIN staff members are not eligible to participate in this auction.
