Justice and Rights Institute - Nepal (JuRI Nepal), established in 2011 working as a non-profit organization and responds to the existing and emerging human rights, accountability and good governance concerns, upholding the principles of human rights, gender equality, cherishing diversity, advocating zero-tolerance of any violence, discrimination and corruption, works independence of any political influence and corporate interest. It brings together human rights professionals with an extensive experience in human rights, the rule of law, gender, inclusion, disability, and social justice. JuRI-Nepal aims to create a fair, just, and inclusive democratic society where everyone can enjoy their human rights.
JuRI- Nepal is collaborating with UNFPA as a National Implementing Partner in the execution of the 9th Country Programme Document 2023-2027. The project aims to support promoting gender equality and Sexual and Reproductive Health Rights, respond GBV, and support strengthening gender-responsive governance. Under this project, we are looking for a potential Nepalese candidate to fill the position.
JuRI -Nepal hereby invites applications for the below-mentioned position, from interested professionals.
Position: Monitoring and Evaluation Officer – 1 (Part Time – 80%)
Duty Station: JuRI-Nepal Office, Jwagal Lalitpur with frequent visits to the project locations.
Duration: 5.5 months (extension depends on availability of fund)
Required qualifications and experience:
- Master’s degree in social sciences, information and knowledge management, communications, or a related technical field;
- Minimum 5 years of relevant work experience in development planning, information and knowledge management, research and/or evaluation;
- Demonstrable ability to conceptualize, plan and execute ideas as well as transfer knowledge and skills;
- Proven writing skills, with an ability to convey complex ideas in a clear, direct style;
- Excellent knowledge of qualitative tools including but not limited to Most Significant Change Technique and Sense maker.
- Familiar with UN M & E KOBO System will be an added advantage.
This position will implement project M&E plan, track progress/results and document lesson learnt to ensure effective implementation of the project and support to prepare project reports. The Detail ToR can be downloaded from here.
Monthly Gross Salary: NRs. 60,796/- (including all benefits for 80% LoE)
