International Nepal Fellowship (Nepal) is a non-Government Organization that was established in 1952 and serving poor and disadvantaged people of Nepal to enable life in its fullness through health and development service. In Nepal, INF Nepal is now providing health and community development services in the provinces of Gandaki, Lumbini, Karnali, and Sudurpaschim.

For the following position, INF Nepal Central Office, Green Pastures Hospital Pokhara and Shining Hospital Surkhet (SHIS) is seeking competent, skilled, service-oriented, and devoted Nepali citizen who share our vision, missions, and values.

1. Position: Monitoring & Reporting Officer

Required Number: 1

Location: Surkhet

Purpose of the Job:

The incumbent is responsible for monitoring and collation of data against the key performance indicators of the; of Access and Inclusion project; draw attention to any areas of concern or gaps in implementation with the Project Officer and Project Coordinator. This will also include review of project activities performance against the targets and indicators in the logical framework; tracking of targets and data; drafting of quality quarterly progress reports with inputs from the project team; participate in monthly team meetings and provide feedback and updates about the progress of the project to the Project Officer and Team members.

Required Qualifications, Skills and knowledge:

  • Must have a Bachelor’s in public health or equivalent in relevant field
  • Minimum 3 years of work experience in monitoring and evaluation of projects, preferably in community development or disability related projects.
  • Good understanding of the project management cycle.
  • Proven ability in the development of monitoring and reporting tools and formats.
  • Computer competencies and general knowledge of Word, Excel, Email, Internet and Social Media. Advance knowledge in Excel would be a advantage.
  • Good communication skills (spoken and written) in both English and Nepali.
  • Prepared to make regular visits to the project areas including availability to work occasional weekends.
  • Supportive of INF Nepal mission and vision and so able to be a role model through genuinely supporting and actively demonstrating INF Nepal Values both in work setting and in other visible relationships.

2. Position: Funding, Partnership and Communication Lead

Required Number: 1

Location: Central Office, Pokhara

Purpose of the Job:

The job holder is responsible to oversee the development, delivery and updating of effective fundraising, communication and partnership strategy, operation and management to meet the vision, mission and goal of INF Nepal.

Required Qualifications, Skills and knowledge:

  • Master’s in relevant area of studies (preferably in social sciences or project management), with minimum five years’ experience in donor liaison, partnership, communication and fund raising areas.
  • Excellent knowledge and understanding of project management cycle and people management.
  • Experience of managing people at senior level.
  • Good understanding of fundraising and partnership development and networking skill.
  • High competency in developing and reviewing proposals and reports
  • Good relationship and team work skills, including understanding and identifying the technical priorities and issues of various projects/hospitals/departments.
  • Able to provide training on issues related with partnership and communication
  • Excellent interpersonal & communication skill (both written and speaking) in Nepali and English
  • Good leadership and administrative skills.
  • Willing and able to travel to remote parts of Nepal.
  • Good communication (spoken and written in both Nepali and English) with good interpersonal, liaison and networking skill.
  • Mature, able to ensure and demonstrate INF values in ones work and in the diverse areas and location of work.

3. Position:  Community Outreach Coordinator

Required Number: 1

Location: GPH, Pokhara

Purpose of the Job:

The jobholder should coordinate INF Nepal Hospitals and Community Development Departments being an interphase between the two for patient follow up and navigation. S/he should plan, organise and facilitate outreach Camps in remote areas of Western Nepal to provide quality health facilities and services to the marginalised people with the objective of improving health and well-being of individuals and communities to support National Health Service.

Required Qualifications, Skills and knowledge:

  • Masters in relevant areas of studies. Master’s in Public Health will be an advantage.
  • Five years of work experience in coordination and management role. Experience in the area of disability or health camps coordination in remote parts of Nepal will be an advantage.
  • Ability to lead and manage a team.
  • Good communication (spoken and written in both Nepali and English) skill at all level with good interpersonal, analytical, problem solving skill.
  • Good in facilitation skills and skill in the use of participatory tools and technique.
  • Understanding of Monitoring and Evaluation concepts.
  • Willing and able to travel frequently to remote areas of Nepal.
  • In agreement with the vision, mission and values of INF.
