Mahila Atma Nirvarta Kendra (MANK) is the women leading organization which has been working with the children and women’s right since its inception. It is an action oriented; social non-profit, non-political child rights organization established in 1991 (BS. 2047).  It is based on the right of underprivileged women and girls who have been left behind due to the existing patriarchal norms and values of the society. The organization has been working in the field of women related issues and their rights. 

With the funding support of FAIRMED Foundation in Nepal, MANK is implementing Sindhu Integrated Health Project (SIHP) covering all Rural/Municipalities in Sindhupalchok. FAIRMED is a Swiss agency working in health and development. FAIRMED – previously known as «Leprosy Relief Emmaus Switzerland» was established in 1959. FAIRMED, as an INGO, in Nepal started its work since the year 2012. Its thematic focus in Nepal is on Neglected Tropical Diseases (NTDs), maternal and neonatal health (MNH) focusing on revitalization of public health care systems linking with service system strengthening, and demand generation in the community to increase the uptake of services.

1. MANK invites bids from Nepalese eligible bidders for the Supply & Delivery of medical equipment. Eligible Bidders may obtain further information and inspect the bidding documents at the office of MANK/SIHP both at Chautara and Melamchi.

2. List of required equipment and other bidding documents are available at SIHP project office in Chautara and also MANK’s office in Melamchi in Sindhupalchok or can be obtained by requesting in e-mail: mank.procurementcommittee@gmail.com

3. The bidders shall submit the copy of PAN/VAT registration, Company/Firm Registration, and Tax Clearance Certificate of FY 2080/081. Bidders also need to submit genuine authorization letters with the quotation.

4. The bid is a single envelop system and can be evaluated on lot/item-wise basis.

5. Validation of quotation must be one year from the day of the agreement. 

6. Bids shall be opened in the presence of members of the procurement committee and representatives also from the funding agency on 2082/03/12 at 11:00 AM at MANK/SIHP office Chautara. 

7. After the cost variance analysis, the procurement committee will shortlist the possible suppliers, and the technical team will visit the bidders’ store for the verification of equipment and quality assurance.

8. MANK reserves the right to accept or reject, all or partly, any or all the bids without assigning any reason whatsoever. Other instructions to the bidder will be provided with the bid documents from the MANK office.

9. If there are any discrepancies or errors seen in the bid documents, it will be dealt with as per the provision stated in the policy of MANK.
