Grants and Contract Coordinator

Helen Keller International (HKI), an international NGO working in nutrition and food security, in partnership with the USAID-fundedSustainable Action for Resilience and Food Security (SABAL) Program, invites qualified Nepali national to apply for the below mentioned positions:

Position: Grants and Contract Coordinator- KTM

DESCRIPTION

The position holder will have responsibility to desk review of the sub-offices and sub awardees financial reports. 

• Responsible for preparing financial reports. 
• Visits to partner and sub-offices to ensure compliances are met and provide supervision, monitoring & coaching.
• Assist in preparation of budgets for sub-offices and sub awards/ sub grants in consultation with concerned program staff
• Oversee inventory control system.
• Assist in execution of statutory audit, donor specific audit, follow up and implement the recommendations.

REQUIREMENT FOR THE ROLE

• Master degree in accounting or business management. 
• Minimum 3 years of experience in similar position/organizations
• Knowledge of USAID rules and regulation is a must.
• Experience with accounting and internal control procedures.
• Willing to travel remote areas as and when required.
• Skills on QB and FAMAS accounting software will be an added value.
• Work experience in partnership management is essential.
