Announcement for Consultancy Service

PeaceWin is a woman lead, non-government, not for profit making, social development organization. It was established locally in 2047 B.S. (26 Sept. 1990 AD) and registered in District Administration Office of Bajura in B.S. 2049 Paush 5 (20 December 1992 AD) with a vision of “Proficient Person, Happy family, and Prosperous Society. It works with underprivileged groups, especially with children and women for promotion and practices of their social, economic, cultural rights. It addresses on program integration and mainstreaming of social issues, like: Chhaupadi, child marriage, and gender-based violence, caste & other forms of discriminations.

PeaceWin Nepal has been implementing the UNFPA 9th Country Programme (2023–2027) in Sudurpaschim Province since April 2024. Under this programme, PeaceWin is implementing SRHR, gender equality, DRR/climate resilient related intervention

To conduct the climate and disaster risk assessment and develop climate smart shelter/safe house guideline of Drishti Foundation of Dhangadhi Kailali,  PeaceWin Nepal invites an Expression of Interest (EOI) from interested qualified firms or individual consultants with relevant experience.

Major deliverable

The consultant will conduct the climate risk assessment and develop a guideline to enhance resilience in Drishti foundation Dhangadhi Kailali. This includes analyzing environmental and disaster risks, strengthening climate-resilient WASH and sanitation systems.

Required Number of Consultant: 1, Total days:  12

Required qualification and experience: 

• Master’s degree in Environmental/natural Science, Climate Change, Disaster Risk Management, or related field 
• Minimum 3 years working experience in climate risk assessment and guideline development, wash and sanitation,

• Letter of interest indicating consultancy fee (per day fee).
