About Equity Society Nepal (ESN):

ESN is a non-profit, non-partisan, non-governmental organization in Nepal, working since 2023 with Dalit, women, and persons with disabilities, as well as individuals who face untouchability, discrimination, oppression, injustice, inequality, and deprivation due to pervasive caste-based discrimination. ESN undertakes evidence-based research, policy dialogue, and advocacies to promote justice, equality, civil freedom, human rights and democracy. 

In this alignment, ESN has been implementing a new project "Promoting dignity and political participation of Person with Disabilities in Nepal –The CLAIM" in partnership with Nepal Voters’ Rights Forum (NVRF), with primary financial support from the European Union (EU). The project is being implemented through a consortium of five organizations, led by NVRF, with four co-applicants: Dalit with Disabilities Association Nepal (DDAN), Purple Foundation (PF), YUWA, and Equity Society Nepal (ESN). The project impact is "Enhanced effective and inclusive political participation and representation of marginalized groups, particular persons with disabilities in Nepal." This project will be implemented for a period of three years, starting from January 2026 and continuing until December 2028. 

Consultancy Opportunity:

Equity Society Nepal (ESN) is seeking Expert Consultants team (Lead consultant-1/ Consultant-1) to analyze laws and policies related to elections and electoral reform with a particular focus on persons with disabilities in Nepal. The study will generate research-based evidence for strengthening inclusive electoral reform to contributing to more effective and inclusive political participation of persons with disabilities and other marginalized groups in Nepal.

Interested and qualified team of consultants is requested to submit the Expression of Interest (EOI) via email by 10 September 2026 (11:59 PM) along with following documents:

• Letter of expression of interest (EOI) along with technical (max. 5 pages) and financial proposals.
• Updated CVs of Consultants.
• PAN/VAT number. 
• Any sample report of similar previous studies.
