Call for Consultancy Service: Life Skills Training for Youth

Samagra Jana-Utthan Kendra (SJK), Lahan, in partnership with Plan International Nepal, invites applications from qualified consulting firms/individual consultants to provide consultancy services for conducting Five-Day Life Skills Training for Youths aged 18–24 years under the Ujjwal Bhawishya (Bright Future) Project in Arnama and Aurahi Rural Municipalities, Siraha.

Key Assignment

• Conduct five-days Life Skills Training events for approximately 50 young people. (2 Event parallelly)
• Facilitate sessions on communication, decision-making, stress management, problem-solving, employment preparation, job search, CV/cover letter writing, interview skills, SRHR, financial literacy, entrepreneurship, savings, and related life skills.
• Use the Plan International Nepal Life Skills Training Manual and participatory training approaches. 
• Conduct pre- and post-assessments and submit a training completion and impact report.

Minimum Requirements

• Bachelor degree in Social Sciences or a relevant field. (Master’s degree preferred)
• At least 2 years of experience in Life Skills Training facilitation.
• Knowledge of the Siraha/Madhesh socio-cultural context and GEDSI approaches.
• Ability to facilitate training in both Maithili and Nepali.
• Preference for facilitators who have received relevant Training of Trainers (ToT).

• CV(s) of proposed expert(s)
• PAN/VAT certificate
• Registration certificate (for firms)
• Tax clearance documents

Submission

• Please submit the required documents in a sealed envelope either by hand or through courier service to the office of Samagra Jan Utthan Kendra, Lahan-8 (50 meters South from Yatayat office), during office hours. The envelope should be clearly marked: “Documents for Trainer of ToT for Facilitators of Life-Skill Training.”
• Deadline: 05:00 PM, 8 September 2026
• Late submissions will not be considered. Can share the documents by creating locked folder. Hard-copy proposals may also be accepted.
• Note: Selected consultant(s) must comply with Samagra Jan-Utthan kendra’s organizational policies, including Child Safeguarding and Protection, Do No Harm, and other relevant protocols.
