Design and Development of Child Centered Early Warning and Climate Change Messages

People Promote Center (PPC), established in 1990 and registered in 1994, is a leading NGO headquartered in Janakpurdham, Dhanusha. Operating across Madhesh Province, PPC is dedicated to promoting social justice and inclusive development. The organization primarily focuses on empowering the 3D communities Dalits (discriminated by caste), persons with disabilities, and deprived populations, displaced groups, women, children, PLHIVs, and those affected by leprosy. Its thematic areas include education and awareness, health and nutrition, disaster preparedness, livelihood promotion, economic empowerment, rights advocacy, capacity building, and research. Through collaboration with local governments and development partners, PPC works to build resilient communities and foster equity for Nepal’s most vulnerable groups.PPC, in partnership with UNICEF Nepal, is implementing the Community Engagement and Social Mobilization for Modeling Social & Behavior Change and Climate Action Project in Durgabhagwati Rural Municipality Rautahat district. PPC invites Expression of Interest (EOI) from eligible individuals or firms to provide consultancy services for the following assignments:

Consultancy services:

The objective of this consultancy is to develop and design child-centered Early Warning System messages and climate change and resilience messages in multiple formats that are age-appropriate, inclusive, and context-specific.Specifically, the consultancy aims to:

• Develop effective child-centered Early Warning and climate change messages in various formats, including audio, video, brochures, posters, displays, and digital content;
• Ensure that all messages promote child protection, meaningful participation, empowerment, and safety.
• Align the messages with national climate change policies, disaster risk management frameworks, and child rights conventions and standards.

Application procedure:

Consultancy firms or individuals are required to submit the following documents: 

• Letter of interest 
• CV specifying organizational/ individual capacity statement relevant to the development of advocacy tool required within the deliverables which includes objectives and method with detailed timeline.
• Financial proposal for the service required.
• Relevant supporting documents including a technical proposal (not more than 3 pages)
• Copy of PAN/VAT registration certificate
• Sample of similar/relevant previous production/assignment
