Expression of Interest (EoI)

Swisscontact is an independent non-profit development organisation established in 1959 by representatives of the Swiss private sector and civil society. Our development work focuses on private sector-led, sustainable economic development with improved quality of life for all in developing and emerging countries. A key focus is to strengthen the skills of individuals and foster the competitiveness of businesses.

Swisscontact, registered as an International Non-Governmental Organisation in Nepal, has been operating in Nepal since 1991. Currently, Swisscontact Nepal has five development programmes across all seven provinces, with a well-functioning country office that employs over 145 staff members.

Developing  Inclusive  and  Green  Opportunities  (DIGO) project  aims  to  create  additional  jobs  and  income  in  the tourism  sector  in  Nepal  while  generating  positive environmental impacts.

To support the implementation of its strategic activities and ensure access to technical expertise across various thematic areas, DIGO Project is establishing a Consultant Roster for the period 2025–2028. This roster will include individual consultants, consulting firms, and service providers with proven experience in relevant fields.

Application Procedure:

The EOI must be delivered electronically to np.info@swisscontact.org with the Subject: EOI Roster-DIGO by Nov 11, 2025.

Selection and Roster Inclusion

All applications will be reviewed based on qualifications, relevance of expertise, and demonstrated experience. Shortlisted consultants will be included in the DIGO Consultant Roster and contacted on a need basis for specific assignments, with detailed Terms of Reference (ToR) and negotiation of technical and financial proposals. Swisscontact reserves the right to accept or reject any or all Expressions of Interest (EOIs) at its sole discretion, without providing any explanation or justification. Being listed on the roster does not guarantee a consultancy contract but ensures consideration for future assignments in alignment with project’s needs.
