Vacancy announcement for the Post of Executive Director

Background:

Just Rights for Children (JRC) (https://www.justrights.international/) is one of the world's largest civil society networks dedicated to ensuring that crimes against children do not go unpunished, and that survivors receive justice and rehabilitation. Working in India, Nepal, Kenya, UK and the US, Just Rights for Children aims to create an ecosystem to end violence against children, with a focus on preventing child marriage, child sexual abuse and child trafficking through legal interventions and community engagement.

Just Rights for Children is driving meaningful change worldwide, shaping efforts to end violence against children and ensuring that survivors receive the justice and support to which they have the right on a global scale. We believe that justice for victims and their families must be accessible to all, and should comprise legal support, a child-centered approach by law enforcement agencies and the judiciary, adequate compensation, and their rehabilitation.

We operate by building collaboration between governments and communities, creating partnerships with key stakeholders, investing in child protection institutions, education, healthcare, justice delivery, and rehabilitation of survivors and their families. We take a holistic approach to justice for children, which combines the prevention of crimes against children, rehabilitation for survivors, and prosecution of perpetrators.
