Maya Academy of Advanced Cinematics Nepal (MAAC Nepal) is the academic wing of Maya Entertainment Ltd. (MEL), a premier 3D Animation and Visual Effects house based in Mumbai, India and promoted by Internationally renowned producer-director Mr. Ketan Mehta (credited with the making of Bhavani Bhavai, Holi, Mirch Masala, Maya Memsaab, Sardar and The Rising) and acclaimed film actress Ms. Deepa Sahi. A vision realized upon the ever growing dearth of quality manpower in the computer graphics and entertainment industry of India took shape in 2001 with the decision of opening up a division to train and mould fresh talent into quality artists and animators for Maya The Magic Shop, MEL's Visual Effects and Animation division. MAAC Nepal came to existence under Inferno Academy of Advance Technology, established in August 2005, with high hopes of delegating and creating quality animators and visual effect specialists in terms of Nepalese market which undoubtedly awaits the exploration of unlimited opportunities for the deserving creative youth.
