The Federation of Business and Professional Women Nepal (FBPWN) is a pioneer voluntary social and professional non-profit non-governmental organization for women from different professions and businesses. The main goal of FBPWN is to advance gender equality and socio-economic empowerment of women so they are more capable of contributing to the socio-economic development of Nepal. BPW Nepal's strategy is to tackle comprehensively and proactively economic and social challenges commonly confronting women as they strive to advance in their professional and business career paths. BPW Nepal has an Executive Committee in Kathmandu and works through its chapters and units at the district and local levels so as to involve local professional and entrepreneurial minded women in reaching needy women in their communities.
