El Comedor Giordano Liva is an Italian non-profit association established in 2002 which vision and mission are to promote solidarity through meaningful participation. The associationâ€™s goal is to support the development, growth and wellbeing of marginalized, and vulnerable groups with a particular focus on disadvantaged children and migrants. The specific concept of â€œintegral developmentâ€ that El Comedor wishes to promote, aims at strengthening individuals awareness about their own rights, whilst enhancing skills development. Therefore, the association tries to feed the "hunger", not only for food, but also for growth and critical development of the communities El Comedor works with. At present, the association through the project â€œGIORDANO LIVAâ€ in PerÃ¹, supports the education and access to health of 300 students aged 3-16, while in Italy promotes education for migrants who want to learn Italian language and integrate themselves in local communities. Recently, El Comedor is implementing â€œTRIS â€“ SATBISE SAFE SCHOOLâ€ project in Nepal which aims to rebuild part of the Uttargaya Public English Secondary School (UPESS), destroyed by the earthquake of 2015
